I feel like I've watched every good series possible and have nothing to binge now. Help.

I couldn't possibly list everything I've ever watched but safe to say I've watched probably all the big name shows (GoT, 24, Prison break, the Sopranos, breaking bad, Outlander, Vikings etc etc) aswell as a lot of the big 90's/00's teen dramas like Gossip Girl, The OC, Dawson's Creek etc and now I can't find anything to watch.

I've googled and everything in the top 100 lists I've either seen or watched a few episodes and couldn't get into it.

So, what have you watched that might not be the post popular series but you found it great? Or what do you rewatch?

I will always recommend queen of the south, one of the best shows I have ever watched, yet not many people have seen it!

Have you seen a programme called Murder One from the 90s? I remember that being addictive and bet it’s not on any list!

Yes! That was incredible. And something like 26 episodes!

cheapskatemum · 10/01/2024 21:44

Agree with many others have mentioned and can add:

Bridgerton
Sanditon
Annika
Chesapeake Shores
Everwood

The Bureau … French language spy thriller. At least four series set in Middle East and Russia.
Babylon Berlin … German 1930s, decadent Berlin, incredibly charismatic lead actors with Bryan Ferry making an appearance as a crooner. What’s not to like?

Papillon23 · 10/01/2024 21:45

White collar
Bones (this runs out of steam before the end of the series)

Iwishmynamewassheilah · 10/01/2024 21:56

Fauda, very topical as set in Israel.

Wow, I’ve just googled because I’d not heard of it. It gets 100% on rotten tomatoes! Going to check it out.

Wow so many good suggestions! I think I am going to start with This is Us and go from there.

I know I'm not the only one who would love to be able to wipe a show from their memory and watch it all over again. For me that would definitely include GoT, The last kingdom, Vikings, Outlander, 24, The Wire (although it's been years since I've watched so could do a rewatch soon as I've forgotten loads), Prison Break and many more!

DH hasn't seen GoT and said he'd like to watch it with me but I haven't forgiven them enough for the ending yet to be able to rewatch.

On Netflix recently, I've enjoyed:

Survival of the Thickest (comedy)
Colin in Black and White
The Chair
Inhuman Resources (French - Eric Cantona is fab in this)

christmasbunny · 10/01/2024 22:02

I'm currently rewatching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and have The X Files lined up next!Other good shows - Six Feet Under, Sopranos, THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES ( this was so good I finished and went straight back and watched it again!)

It's soooooo good. Wish I could watch it fresh from the start. The subtitles are challenging at times when the characters slip in and out of Hebrew/Arabic. When they switch between them the subtitles are bracketed. Don’t let that put you off.

Doran, the lead, is fantastic. Sadly one of the actors was injured in the actual war playing out over there recently.
