What boring and mundane tasks do you enjoy

I love doing the washing (not ironing).

I enjoy seeing it in the machine and drying on the line.

It's really "my thing" and I take a lot of care with it, or sorting colours etc.

I'm also fussy with making sure my whites stay white (and seeing my kids in lovely white school shirts)!

I like trying out fabric softeners and colour catcher sheets etc. I live the smell of fabric softener too!

I recently went into the launderette to try some towels as my tumble dryer stopped working. I got envious of the woman who worked in there doing service washes!!!!!!!!

I really need to get a life!

I love de icing the car.
Don't mind ironing.

I love having a shiny clean bathroom

Cutting the grass. It's so satisfying seeing the before and after as you go across the garden.

I love no tasks at all

I like ironing, even considered it as a side hustle at one time.

I love washing & hanging it out, outside.

I love a line full of whites blowing in the wind!!

I don't use fabric conditioner or what have you, but I soak the dish cloths/tea towels in the Dettol Laundry Cleanse & I love the smell of that!

Cleaning the kitchen. Microwave, fridge, surfaces, splashback, floor. It gets a bit meditative.

Ironing, however, you can keep.

I was going to say the washing but after reading your full post I don't think I'm full washing obsessed like you. I just like hanging it out and I'm shit at separating colours and getting stains out. I just enjoy hanging it out as it's 5 minutes peace

I love ironing - stick some shite on the telly & I could happily stand there for hours.

That's how I get through it. Only me to do it for so I don't suffer for long :)

I love laundry, my face moisturising routine, cutting up veg...all make me feel grounded.

I really like pairing up odd socks. I've got 3 carrier bags: one for black socks, one for white socks & one for multicoloured/other coloured socks. I find it relaxing to pick one, empty it onto the bed & match up pairs. It's so rewarding when I see several pairs of socks to put away.

Love ironing but hate putting the clothes away. Have piles of nicely ironed stuff everywhere which then gets crumpled up and needs ironing again

I love hoovering and mopping - love to find a new floor cleaner that smells nice
And cleaning the bathroom
Hate anything involving the kitchen and don't even own an iron!

Always hated washing but found some decent washing products recently so suddenly I like it 🤣

Chopping veg

Quite happily stand in kitchen to chop away and put something to watch on the iPad

I also love washing especially in summer when it’s all out on the line. I’m laughing at your post as I would also love to work in a laundrette. Whenever I drop duvets etc off I’m fascinated with all the big machines and the hum of them and the fabulous smell! 😊

Hoovering i have three cats so the carpets look so much better after ive run round with the hoover

I love laundry, i get so excited if i find a new conditioner that i like. I worked in a laundrette for a year when my children were little, best job ever.

Down the yard - mucking out, poo picking and hosing down hay nets. At home - nothing cos my lit are lazy buggers and I end up doing pretty much everything!

I never separate colours. I bung it in all together and hope for the best

I didn't even know I should be separating colours!

I just do a white wash and an everything else wash.

Sweeping the floor, always shocked at how many crumbs there are even after a short time 😂

Tidying the fridge and freezer: deeply satisfying!
