Complex set of documents though. Even if you can get on the site it's not easy to digest, so we watch this space I suppose.

U.S. financier Jeffrey Epstein appears in a photograph taken for the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services' sex offender registry March 28, 2017

Jeffrey Epstein: US court releases list of people connected to financier

The disgraced millionaire mixed with figures from the worlds of politics, business and royalty.

@Roussette

Im horrified by that information
yes @goodbyestranger - I was disgusted to see the sycophants- though their numbers are dwindling.
Christ that family is a cancer on our society
What message does their support for Andrew send to women ?
How they have the gall to pretend to care for ‘mental health ‘ and ‘childhood ‘

Clean your own filth up first

IncompleteSenten · 04/01/2024 10:53

Release the list.
Say it's a combination of people on there for different reasons.

My first thought is that any half decent lawyer can now argue it is impossible for anyone on that list to have a fair trial.

Marie2023 · 04/01/2024 03:05

@Over40Overdating I am not sure so would only be speculating. It could be something to do with homosexuality laws in their country. Again, just speculation.

Doesn't that suggest that boys were trafficked too?

alltootired · 04/01/2024 10:56

@IncompleteSenten Nobody on that list will appear in court. They are too rich and powerful.

The world is sick

Watching the footage of PA at the church on Christmas Day all the people shown greeting him were fawning and smiling. It beggars belief.

Yes. And I just want to put this here, for anyone who cares to remember his lying, his minimising, his manipulation of the media to try and exonerate himself. No regrets from him. His family don't care.

Full transcript of Maitlis interview. Worth reading again, it gets worse every time of reading.

EM: You've talked about a thick skin, I wonder if you have any sense now of guilt, regret or shame about any of your behaviour and your friendship with Epstein?
PA: As far as Mr Epstein was concerned, it was the wrong decision to go and see him in 2010. As far as my association with him was concerned, it had some seriously beneficial outcomes in areas that have nothing and have nothing to do with what I would describe as what we're talking about today.
On balance, could I have avoided ever meeting him? Probably not and that's because of my friendship with Ghislaine, it was… it was… it was inevitable that we would have come across each other. Do I regret the fact that he has quite obviously conducted himself in a manner unbecoming? Yes.
EM: Unbecoming? He was a sex offender

Maireas · 04/01/2024 11:00

Not long ago, Sarah Ferguson was on a chat show promoting her book and referred to her former husband as "the most honourable man I know". Talk about a low bar.

Luddite26 · 04/01/2024 11:03

Did Epstein take his own life, I've always thought not? Who is really controlling all this. Trump's name always gets thrown in but no specifics but he was POTUS when Epstein died.
It's like the scandals behind JFK always something in the background muddying the waters never getting the truth.
Like Savile and operation Yew Tree who were the powers that be that let some eccentric DJ into all the places of power including Christmas lunch with the PM.

Livelovebehappy · 04/01/2024 01:34

It’s sickening that Maxwell, whilst rightly convicted, is the only person to be punished. The rich and powerful men get away with it. Again.

I wouldn't say Epstein "got away with it" to be fair.

BodenCardiganNot · 04/01/2024 10:23

@Sureaseggs44

As a previous poster has said, the Miami Herald took a case in 2018 seeking the publication of documents from court cases taken by victims of Epstein. They won that case last year. Hence the publication of the documents.

So to be clear this is not his contact list or a list of people who visited the island , some who originally may not have had a clue what was going on , but legal evidence from victims who are now free to speak ?

Luddite26 · 04/01/2024 11:10

Ferguson and Andrew have been looking after the Queen's Corgis since she died and I think that has helped them wedge the door open on social media etc ( not trivialising it).
It angers me that he still holds the title Duke of York. And funnily enough both my daughters met him; one when she was 16 at a college in Keighley and the other when he visited her work place where she ran the 16 to 18 year old training school!

Yes. And a 'giant of a principled man'

alltootired · 04/01/2024 11:11

@Luddite26 you mean their staff are looking after the corgis.
I see it is also being claimed that Queen Elizabeth before she died said that she wanted Sarah Ferguson to have a state like funeral when she died. Aye sure she did.`

I know! Only a tiny number of people get a state funeral apart from the monarch. As. If.

Petition the government then because Charles can't remove it even if he wanted to without the government changing the law

Novella4 · 04/01/2024 11:17

Charles could have chosen not to allow Andrew full velvet curtain and tie back regalia at the coronation- he allowed Andrew to take part fully

He could ask him to keep out of the public eye - he has done the opposite - Andrew’s appearances are increasing and he’s seen at the church pap walk and it was made certain that he was photographed in the front seat with William driving him

Thet are telling us what sort of people they are .
I believe them .

alltootired · 04/01/2024 11:19

@Theunamedcat The Royal family have got hundreds of laws secretly changed to benefit them. If the Royal family wanted Andrew's titles removed, the government would have changed the law for them.

Tacotortoise · 04/01/2024 11:03

I wouldn't say Epstein "got away with it" to be fair.

Easy option, but there must be big questions around how it was allowed to happen, or who made it happen.

goodbyestranger · 04/01/2024 11:21

Absolutely alltootired. It's completely in the gift of the rf to remove PA's titles. They only have to give the nod.

Literally everything about this rf lacks honour.

LBFseBrom · 04/01/2024 11:22

We all knew that Epstein's business and social circle was wide, including a lot of high-profile and wealthy people from many different walks of life and countries. It doesn't mean they all did something dreadful. I am certainly not interested in who is on the list in order to speculate, it would do no good. I'll leave that to the law.

alltootired · 04/01/2024 11:24

@LBFseBrom The law will do nothing. These are wealthy and powerful men who are protected.

^^ This.

Of course Charles could not be seen to support Andrew in such a public way. Look at Andrew thanking the public at Balmoral for support. Fuck off Andrew.

The family think they are making the right noises about him. They aren't.

BodenCardiganNot · 04/01/2024 11:28

@Sureaseggs44

Yes. There is no 'list'. Court documents have been released. Some of the victims applied to the court in Florida to have their names redacted or kept confidential.

alltootired · 04/01/2024 11:28

The Royal families public support of Andrew will backfire.

BodenCardiganNot · 04/01/2024 11:30

@alltootired
The Queen - allegedly - gave permission for Sarah Ferguson to have a royal funeral at St. George's Chapel Windsor followed by burial in Frogmore. This is not the same as a state funeral.
