My dog has a little sack with his name on hung up on the mantelpiece. He will be getting a ball, a packet of doggy cheesy nibbles and a fleece tug toy. (but mostly he will enjoy flinging wrapping paper about)

I don't have a Ddog anymore but have bought DGrandpup (for his first Christmas!) a tuggy toy, treats, dog stocking, Kong, and a lickimat.

Heaven help any potential DGC...they will also be spoilt rotten!

MrsFloof · 23/12/2023 12:41

Floof has a large cat Christmas cracker which has a mouse in it. I told him about this last night and got the first sentence out of him, he was very excited - think its the ch sounds (chicken) and long words and cat. We also have a small F&M hamper coming and he can have the hamper if he wants an upgrade from cardboard box but will see, it may be a downgrade in cat terms. 😎He is loving the Christmas trees esp the robin decorations cat toys and the musical advent calendar which he purrs at and sits next to when it plays bouncing his tail.

Just some treats, he enjoys ripping the paper off more than any toy.

My cat is getting a radiator bed and steps to get up to it, an electric heating pad bed thing, a water fountain drinking bowl, a spider toy on a stick, a tub of catnip, some 'stinkies' (catnip sardine toys) another pack of 3 catnip toys and a stocking full of treats that's hung over the fireplace along with my sons' stockings.

BeansOnToast32 · 23/12/2023 13:30

She's got a stocking with Lamb braids, 2 different bags of Pet Bakery treats and 3 toys.

Makkacakka · 23/12/2023 13:30

A couple of packets of treats (cats). They just got a huge cat tree so that's all they need!

Honeyroar · 23/12/2023 13:31

The veg peelings! (Horses and bunnies)
The turkey skin and fat (dogs and cats)

CalistoNoSolo · 23/12/2023 13:33

A new squeaker toy each and a bag of dried sprats to share. They always give something to my DD and DP at Christmas and birthdays too.

unvillage · 23/12/2023 13:36

My cat's getting a Mimi's Daughters selection box, he loves those toys so much.

Stresa22 · 23/12/2023 13:38

My DCat is getting a heating pad.

Dinobooklover · 23/12/2023 13:40

the guinea pigs will be getting a box filled with forage, peaflakes and some other treats, plus a few new beds and a snugglesafe. Yes, they are very spoiled 😆

Sera1989 · 23/12/2023 13:44

Loose catnip wrapped in Christmas paper and every discarded cardboard box so they can choose their favourite

Beginningless · 23/12/2023 13:45

There will be 3 dogs at our Xmas so I have gotten them each matching red bow tie collars. Mines got a stocking with a few toys as well since the kids expect Santa not to leave ddog out!

RallySooney · 23/12/2023 13:45

Usually a bit of left over white pudding at breakfast and scraps of turkey later on if he's been good.

Letsnotargue · 23/12/2023 13:47

A giant octopus toy. He already has two smaller ones which he likes (he loves flailing the legs around) and I think he’ll lose his mind with this one. For about 30 seconds and then it’ll be forgotten for at least a month.

MuddlingThroughLife · 23/12/2023 13:48

3 cats. 2 girls aged 18 months and boy aged 4 months. They are getting a pool table, cat stocking and gun that shoots pom poms.

Cubbysnowdog · 23/12/2023 13:53

Treats and a new laser pen to chase

Iheartmysmart · 23/12/2023 14:00

I lost DDog back in October so am currently petless in terms of furry ones to buy for.

I do however have a couple of fish which I rescued from being thrown away earlier in the year. The tank they are in is a bit too small so I’ve treated them to a new one which is 4 times the size. Hopefully they’ll like it.

AmyDudley · 23/12/2023 14:01

I'd like some of these gifts myself a radiator bed sound very cosy Xmas Smile

I was very tempted by one of those octopus toys @Letsnotargue , but he got a giant giraffe toy a couple of years ago (which he loves) and I decided we didn't have space for any other large beasts Xmas Grin

The first year we had him he decided the best thing about Christmas was trying to eat all the pine needles off the tree, it's been artificial trees ever since !

He will get a roast potato on the day, he gets 'roast potato madness' if he doesn't Xmas Grin

Ddogs have each got a tuggy toy , bags of treats , a squeaky toy and will have a full roast beef dinner like the rest of us .

Sgtmajormummy · 23/12/2023 14:05

A real leather dog collar.
He’s nearly three now, so he’s not going to grow and I’m starting to invest in stuff for him that will last.
They were so expensive in the shop that I just took the metal bits and the name tag from a broken pleather one and asked my cobbler to put them on a 25x2 cm strip of leather.
€10. Sorted

Prawncow · 23/12/2023 14:07

A new fleecy blanket, a fresh bone from the butcher which they’re eating in the garden and a squeaky Christmas pudding toy.

dudsville · 23/12/2023 14:07

My DH bought her an advet calendar so she's been enjoying sitting down each day to a treat! She'll also have a lot of turkey as I'm the only one who eats it and Sainsbury's delivered a much larger one than I ordered.

Floralnomad · 23/12/2023 14:08

Our dog has a set of 3 marine plush toys , a fleecy lamb and some new Yak bars . The Grand cats have a large bag of dreamies and a kong fluffy toy each .

QueSyrahSyrah · 23/12/2023 14:09

Our cat is getting a heated blanket / pad thing, and a stocking containing 4 different types of treats and 2 toys. We've recently moved to somewhere with wood floors when he's only known carpet before and the old boy has rediscovered a love for toys that roll.
