One opinion that you have that will never waver, no matter what?..

What you know should come before who you know.

CatsCocktailsCareers · 03/12/2023 22:51

@DaizenShine not sure I could bring myself to use she/her it seems like I'm lying if I do that. Or colluding in a lie. Which could affect my mental health as I have a form of OCD around religion and am scared of burning in hell for lying. Whereas using or not using she/her will have 0% effect on their mental health it could seriously affect my own.

That people shouldn’t be kept alive at all costs with no quality of life, overpopulation Is now people living too long with the continued drop in birth rates in the developed world

there are far too many domesticated pets now usually kept by people who cannot provide what they need or pick up their excrement

ill probably get flamed for this one but climate change is not on my radar, until the ones dictating to us start doing it I haven’t got the mental capacity for it

on this one and ill say the same to anyone

"ill probably get flamed for this one but climate change is not on my radar, until the ones dictating to us start doing it I haven’t got the mental capacity for it"

even if those that preach we need to be more environmentally friendly etc still use eg planes, boats, armored gas guzzling cars etc, it still does not make them wrong about the general population doing more, for the environment,

i dont understand why should we do x if they are not doing it anyway etc as looking after the environment helps humanity as a whole which requires all of humanity, why wait for those that preach when we can take charge ourselves and help save the planet ?

It IS another think coming. 'Not THING!'

Pineapple on pizza is fine. Does no-one have pineapple with cheese - ever? Pizza has a cheese base.. do you not see where I'm going here???

The Oxford comma is a must. 'Jill, Lucy, Dan and David' just looks stupid. Makes Dan and David look like one unit! It's 'Jill, Lucy, Dan, and David.' Always was, always will be. The comma after Dan is essential.

Oh, and I am not transphobic and am more than happy to live and let live and cannot tolerate hatred towards trans people. But I can't tolerate the rights of trans people being trumped over the rights of women, and women being shit on to make way for the wishes of transgender people. It feels like in the pecking order in life, hetero men are No 1, followed by transgender people, and non-binary people, and gay men, and lesbian women at No 2. Followed by hetero women at No 3.

Women have spent a couple of centuries trying to be heard and listened to and taken seriously and treated equally, and it's taken about five minutes for it all to come crashing down, and for women to be at the bottom of the pile again. Women are being told that WOMAN is a dirty word. With shit like female actors being called actors now and not actresses, and no more female singers, just 'best singer' in the awards shows. (And guess what, since the lack of a female singer category, women have lost out on awards hand over fist!)

It's almost 2024, and I don't feel like women have progressed a fucking millimetre in 100 years now! We are still shit on day after day, men are constantly promoted over women in the workplace, employers aren't keen on employing younger childbearing age women, but also aren't keen on employing mothers. And women are put last in every pecking order going!

Actually it would likely have an effect on their mental health, and their beliefs are just as real as your religious ones. If you done this in the workplace, you could be creating a hostile work environment while discriminating and possibly harassing. We can only hope you never have a trans colleague.

AlaskaThunderfuckHiiiiiiiii · 03/12/2023 23:06

@Museum10660 because a lot of the changes the rich and those in charge want us to make disproportionately affect those who can least afford it, electric cars, heat pumps etc etc while they continue using their gas guzzlers etc. I’m not saying I don’t do my bit I recycle, haven’t flown for nearly 20 years etc but I live rurally and have a job which requires a car, I cannot afford an electric car so have a 1.2 petrol. I just don’t let it consume me or let it be continually rammed down my throat. It also gets my goat when all you see is housing estate after estate thrown up on green space, the green space that we need to help?

AlaskaThunderfuckHiiiiiiiii · 03/12/2023 23:09

Also keeping all of these people alive past natural expiration won’t be helping the environment, I work in nursing mainly with the elderly the waste from treating their various health needs is collosal

DaizenShine · 03/12/2023 23:10

@ArthurbellaScott

It's far from absurd. Unfathomable to you obviously. They may feel born in the wrong body, as many of them do!

Oh pet. You really are behind the times. Even stonewall and mermaids had to distance themselves from the born in the wrong body bullshit.

Booboocars · 03/12/2023 23:16

That cars should not park on pavements.

it is lazy and selfish not to mention a health hazard.

DaizenShine · 03/12/2023 23:19

I don't think I'm the one behind the times at all. Showing your age now!

That if you should only have children if you can actually afford to feed, house and clothe them yourself. They are a want, not a need.

DaizenShine · 03/12/2023 23:28

@Rainbowshit

Nice link. I have trans friends and colleagues, some who feel they were simply born in the wrong body. But yes, just get all your opinions from the internet "pet" that's real life for sure 😉

That a paedophile is a paedophile, not a “minor-attracted person”

That victims of statutory rape are victims, not “child prostitutes”

That who you are is what matters, not what you think you identify as.

Museum10661 · 03/12/2023 23:34

that abolishing private education , will not suddenly improve state education, as private parents will just use there resources for eg private tutors, ect

It really isn't but you've definitely made me realise that THIS is the hill I would die on....

"Another think coming is the older of the two, dating in use to the mid-19th century, and originated in British English. Another thing coming appears to have come about in American English several decades later, probably as a result of confusion regarding the original phrase."

You're both right! (but @MsJuniper was righter (sic) 😀

Haven't RTFT so this has probably been said before.

Except that IT is the terrorist state who inflicts unending terror on others

Er, it’s not all about you and yes it could impact their mental health.

Lying doesn’t come into it. It’s polite to call people what they want to be called, you don’t have to believe they are female if they are biologically male, but they are choosing to live as a woman it is only good manners to acknowledge that as long as it is doing no harm to others, which calling yourself ‘she’ is not.

MaidOfSteel · 04/12/2023 01:03

I have 2.

Humans can not change their biological sex, no matter what they wear, how many drugs they take and what surgery they undergo. As such, women only spaces & services must be open only to biological females.

The death penalty is wrong.

It's not good manners to ask other people to lie and I won't do it.
I'm not going to ignore what I can see and hear.
