I would like to make a complaint about this product called Menopause

When I was first informed that the product was a replacement for the frankly stupid Menstruation, I was quite excited and looked forward to it immensely.
I was not aware that I would have to accept installation of Perimenopause and all its accompanying attachments: weight gain, being hot ALL THE TIME, insomnia, increased sensitivity to allergens, brain fog, incredibly heavy periods.
My skin became very dry for 10 years. Then last year I apparently became a teenager again. I have had to change ALL of my makeup and skin products to accomodate this. While not expecting financial compensation, I am making a request in the strongest terms that these automatic updates cease.
I was not informed that giving up caffeine and alcohol would also be included in the package. Needless to say, I would not have accepted delivery had I known.
The actual cessation of Menstruation has been quite satisfactory, but I would like to suggest that the product needs a revamp - indeed, a complete overhaul to eliminate the extras. Some indication that the product is a long term installation and not a one off would also be a great improvement in product information.

When I google, there are lots of us experiencing issues with this system it seems. Funny though, a qualified service engineer looked at mine and pronounced it ‘running normally’.

It’s taken a full 2 hours and 4 cups of tea to reboot this morning and half my files are missing. I’ve searched for Concentration and Motivation for example but they’re nowhere to be found. Also memory seems very limited even though I’ve deleted most of alcohol and have cleared cookies and cake this week.

So I'm not the only one to fall for this scam software?

You should have signed up for the Give No Fucks What Anyone Thinks About Me bolt on. It (nearly) makes it all worth it.

Honestly OP it’s worth it just for the free gift with purchase. Weirdly enough the dgaf bolt on arrived about a year ago but the initial upgrade still hasn’t installed 💃

Those service engineers are useless. I'm convinced the day that they cover this when they're at college on day release, they go to the pub instead. They probably play pool with the apprentices from Endocrine Systems.

Is there a petition? I'll sign it.

Notimeforidiots69 · 30/11/2023 09:56

I would have, but sadly Dr Wolff didn't include one! ❤

JustACountryMusicGirlInCowboyBoots · 30/11/2023 10:00

My installation is faulty too with the software running

JustACountryMusicGirlInCowboyBoots · 30/11/2023 10:00

Intermittently.

I have found that there is an upside to my previously mentioned glitch in the "Procrastination" module: you can circumnavigate "Procrastination" by double-clicking the "Avoid" button which will open up "Concentration" and "Motivation" options.

However, you have to be aware that "C&M" only work in 'safe mode' in Menopause, so make sure you only click on relevant options, eg "kittens", "solar panel research" and "body type analysis", NOT "work", "food shop" or "housework."

Hope that helps.

Love it, it sums up menopause exactly.
I would also add no actual help from useless GP, it’s up to you if you want to take HRT, says GP in a not very helpful way.
If I learnt anything from going through the menopause is that I would see a private specialist early on, had I known how long it takes to go through and having a variety of symptoms.

Jewelspun · 30/11/2023 10:24

The product I received was faultless and it's use was quickly over.

You must have got a faulty one and I suggest you check in for a complete overhaul.

Brilliant!

rattlinoldbones · 30/11/2023 10:39

Husband had the bright idea of ringing the IT department.

"Just turn it off and turn it on again"

He explained he'd had no trouble turning it off over the last 20 years, but just recently couldn't seem to get it turned on again..

gotomomo · 30/11/2023 10:40

I found many of the negatives could be solved by changing the xy model I lived with. Initially the xy model changed me but turns out it was quite a dud

I have Teenager 2006 and Husband v.1.
How well do they interface with Menopause Woman 2023? Or are they incompatible operating systems?

I have Teenager 2009 v2 (v1 was rebranded as Young Adult) and Ex Husband v1.

Ex Husband v1 is only compatible with Young Adult.
Teenager 2009 v2 and Menopauase Woman 2023 are compatible in most situations but there are some situations which cause glitches and a few which result in unpredictable outputs which can take a lot of work to fix, or lead you to think there is a virus.

Possiblynotever · 30/11/2023 10:50

You forgot those areas that get dry and stay dry...not just your face....

MossBross · 30/11/2023 11:31

Let's all meet in big groups and go down to whichever department store that sold us this massive crock of shit and smash it all up. It will achieve nothing but could be cathartic? Anyone who bought online can join in as well. I'll be at Hemorrods department store, Prolapse Lane, Tenabury. PM me for more details.

Notimeforidiots69 · 30/11/2023 11:36

Oh yes, I forgot the Error Not Found 404 glitch with the hair missing in certain areas and turning up in unwanted ones... Hairy legs, gone, hairy armpits, gone! Hairy face... Yep! Am currently downloading the Sasquatch debug file, but all I have so far is a 10x magnification mirror, a pair of tweezers and a clip on book light... And a subscription to Mens Health and Welfare...

Bambooshoot · 30/11/2023 12:32

I can’t seem to stop the “belly fat” add-on - every time I uninstall it (after months of effort) it reinstalls itself within a week. Who is running this software?!

pickledandpuzzled · 30/11/2023 12:38

MyNanSaid · 29/11/2023 20:53

I can't remember 🤯

This. I am fairly sure there are upgrades and patches available for many of the glitches I experience, and was expecting to need to install as well as tweak my usage for best performance.

Sadly I don’t have the focus to research and install the various options due to the poorly trailed brain fog and memory collapse.

Warning to those approaching this upgrade- research all the variants and patches ahead of time. It may be too late when you are at the point of needing to install them.

MrsMoastyToasty · 30/11/2023 12:49

I find that when I try and shut down the system that that the Insomnia program starts running in the background.

tigger1001 · 30/11/2023 12:52

Love this! Well done op.

I am particularly "enjoying" the insomnia and anxiety installations.....

sockarefootwear · 30/11/2023 13:13

I was quite annoyed to find out that the suppliers of Menopause could install upgrades early without any request or notification. My very regular subscription to Menstruation v1 very suddenly became unreliable, leading to concerns that Childbirth v3 might have been downloaded accidentally.

Once I realised what was happening I quite quickly bought the HRT add on which has sorted most of the errors noted by other reviewers. I was not a fan of Menstruation so was pleased to see it go and I have been rather enjoying DGAF and Not at All Broody add ons that came as a free gift. However, I would like to return the you know, thing, erm, thing in your head not doing the thing it should. As a relatively young user of Menopause people do not expect this glitch and it just makes me look a bit thick.

I was given the wrong application for mine, it was not compatible with the fitted implant

New dual-usage patch now provided but needing the hard drive scanned next week to test for any damage caused - hopefully they can de-frag and clear out anything not required
