It's the be all and end all of £140 million, fuckers!

DuncinToffee · 25/11/2023 09:56

Yes, all that money and time just to demonise 3% of the total immigration Angry

Cruella complaining to Sunak about the number of legal migrants being too high in the last couple of years. She was in charge of the Home Office, which has been handing out well over a million visas a year.

It’s like me complaining to my husband that I spend too much money.

The language is just so annoying. ‘Handing out’, like we’re not a country experiencing shortages of health and social care professionals and trades that literally build and maintain the resources we need with universities that have been pushed into profit making organisations that rely on income from foreign students.

Then that lump of blancmange that pretended to be Churchill for a bit is still sticking his oar in suggesting that we raise the salary requirements for immigration. Ok dickhead, we’ll stick migrant carers on sponsored salaries of 45k and watch every resident carer down tools and piss off somewhere else. How has he still got access to a keyboard?

The haunted pencil pipped in with this gem

"We don't need fruit pickers. If fruit can be grown more cheaply & more economically, in foreign countries, then we should import fruit.. "

I would like JRM to release an illustrated book on how he envisages the world and its workings. The man is deranged idiot - in the truest sense of both words.

Does his part of Somerset not have fruit farms then? Or is he trying to be voted out?

Piggywaspushed · 25/11/2023 10:17

I have a new catchy slogan for them.

Stop Immigration. Destroy British Farming. Buy foreign.

Notonthestairs · 25/11/2023 10:26

Johnson etc have the money to pay privately for health & social care. They are hardly going to worry about the elderly or disabled being left to fend for themselves.

I'm heartily sick of the rhetoric that immigration numbers have been forced on the Government. It's their policy in action. They might pretend they want lower migration but they've put nothing in place for that to be practical or economical.

You know who has really low immigration numbers? North Korea.

Be more North Korea!

DuncinToffee · 25/11/2023 10:31

Funny how North Korea never get mentioned on the immigration threads..........

Johnny Mercer got booed when switching on the Christmas lights, his popularity has plunged quite a bit.

Excellent news, sorry to have missed it. May he receive a bread roll barrage in Waitrose just to complete the festivities.🌲

My god... Somerset is one of the biggest apple growing regions in the UK. And they are a major producer of cider.

He's a dick.

How has he still got access to a keyboard?

Good question @Cornettoninja from what I heard over the COVID enquiry he needed several keyboards / laptops because every time he shut the lid on one he needed another open one ready to use as he can't manage it himself.

Roussette · 25/11/2023 14:07

I thought Moggy didn't agree with computers, those new fangled things? There was a picture of him sat at his desk, not a 'puter to be seen!

I think I actually hate Badenoch, which is awful on my part but I cannot find any redeeming features she is just so nasty.

I find Penny Mordaunt more detestable for many reasons, but for some reason the boudicean blonde seems to get away with it more and is left to 'shmooze the tearooms'.

According to the Times Matt Hancock and Michael Gove have been interviewed by the National Crime Agency as part of its investigation into Michelle Mone’s PPE firm

I can believe this quote

"Attempts by the Department of Health, in mid to late January 2020, to raise the alarm were dismissed out of hand by senior staff working for the then prime minister, Boris Johnson, because they believed Hancock was mainly seeking publicity and exaggerating the dangers, the insiders say.

One with detailed knowledge of events at the time told the Observer: “The DoH was pushing really hard and the Cabinet Office and Downing Street were saying ‘Look, we’ve just had an election and we have got to get Brexit done: could you and your pandemic just fuck off and stop irritating us.’ They totally trivialised it and did not want to engage.”

I wonder whether Matt Hancock knew about EOTHO in advance? I find it hard to believe he first heard about it when it was launched on the TV, as was the case with Van Tam.

Yeah it was bound to be in one of their WhatsApp chats. Someone probably thought of it when the had a sudden inkling to go out for curry with their mates.

Oh please please, let something happen on this. Her husband also is in deep doo doos in Spain, where he is being charged with corporate tax evasion and prosecutors are seeking a custodial sentence.

A question was tabled in the House...
David Linden(SNP MP): Does he(Dowden) think it's acceptable that Michelle Mone has more ability to scrutinise the Foreign Secretary(David Cameron) than members of this House?

medianewbie · 26/11/2023 09:48

Just looking at Laura Trotts utterances this morning. Clearest linking of (parts of) British workforce (refusal to work) & (need for) Immigration that I've yet seen. 'Disabled people cause Immigration' anyone ???

How about 30pLee? For those of us still wondering how The Oaf became Deputy Chair of the Tories, Richard Tice, leader of Reform UK, says it was the price that the Tory party paid to prevent 30p leaving to join his Reform Party. So Tory voters, you're stuck with him and he can say whatever he feels like saying. You must all be so proud, well done.
