Sold my house today,
Thanks to you cheating husband
Restart my life now

It was a spider
It looked like it was stomping
I couldn't hear it

Delicious coffee
sourdough toast, butter, marmite
now bring on today

What a painful time
May your new life be joyous
Without that dickhead

I have read a thread
about writing a haiku
I so wish I could

Radiotherapy
Treatment today, I so wish
It was all over

the Lord he will soon be gone
from my superb life

Dementia muddle
Numbs her mind and memories,
Yet she still dances

What a hellish day,
I poured a bloody big drink.
Tomorrow looms large.

A mind is precious
Trapped like a pearl in a shell
But still glistening

Frustration dwindles
When she cuddles in closely
'I love you Mummy'.

When I write haikus
I always struggle to keep
space to fit the last

The candle flickers,
Its scent filling the whole room.
So evocative.
