I need a good cry. What songs make you cry? I might make a playlist. The Disturbed version of The Sound of Silence gets the tears flowing for me, especially if I sing along loudly, although it's a marmite song here on mn.

Always Nick Cave -The ship song & Into my arms

SisterImpera · 13/11/2023 23:11

Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits. And Bright Eyes by Art Garfunkel, every time!

I’m a Disturbed fan but not keen on their cover of Sound of Silence, but the rest of my family love it.

Sorry you need a cry and hope it helps.

These are my go-to favourites if I need a blubber.

Ooh, lots of suggestions already, thank you all. Some I know and some I've never heard, so I will do some investigating.

Acoustic version of Wings by Birdy makes me sob, it was playing on the radio when we were driving home from the hospital after finding out I'd had my 13th miscarriage. It reminds me of all the babies I've lost ♥️ but it's a beautiful song x
