I went to bed around half ten and conked out straight away. Woke up around half 1 and still no sign of getting back to sleep. I'll be knackered tomorrow.

Why are you all awake at this ungodly hour?

I seem to wake every night now a days. Either I need the toilet or my DS wakes me up from being scared/needing the toilet/any other excuse.
Tonight though I had a chest infection and feeling pretty rubbish. Fell asleep at 9 and now not feeling tired

Can't get comfortable co-sleeping tonight. Feels like I have a lump in my throat because of how I'm led. Every time I move baby moves to follow me and keeps thrashing around and wants to comfort suck ... lactation consultant and HV said breastfeeding mums get more sleep than formula mums. Doesn't ffing feel like it!

I'm in hospital, had a knee replacement yesterday, slept from about 10 last night to 2.30. Sore and bored!

I am no doctor but could your knee pain be referred? Mine tuned out to be coming from my pelvis which was misaligned. Just a thought.

Ddog just woke me for a wee.

Kitten was sick on the landing, she has been sick now for 4 days in a row. We have two and couldn’t work out which one was doing it. They have both now gone back to sleep and I am googling and wondering if she needs to go to the vet or give it a couple more days after we have stopped giving them the treat we think she is not digesting? Very insignificant compared to some here so I am sorry for those struggling with real worries or pain.

Worried about work tomorrow.
Training on new system has fallen short, pressure to get something done, and already complaints about it not going ahead.
Really have been set up to fail, as it has to go ahead for Monday deadline with work around to make it happen.
I don’t think it will happen
And there will be two sets of complaints

Gawd knows why I wake up at 4.21 every morning 😡, it’s becoming very tedious.
Off to town today, I need to buy new underwear and I fancy some wide leg trousers.
Can’t decide whether to drive in and pay the extortionate parking fees or get the bus in from the outskirts.
I hope those of you who are unwell or in pain get some relief.

9 weeks pregnant, woke up for a wee at 4 am then the nausea hit. Raided the fridge in an attempt to settle it, now have heartburn as well. Judging by the last few weeks I will finally fall asleep again between 6 and 7 then feel atrocious when my alarm goes off at 7.15. Bleugh.

I'm not sure, I just pinged awake about half an hour ago.

@JenniferJupiterVenusandMars are you me???? My body clock also wakens at that time almost every night! I could weep!

Hope everyone here manages to find some peace, rest, headspace, support, pain relief or whatever it is you need now, in the wee small hours, and the course of the day ahead.

Night shift too, 10 in a row? That’s tough! How do you manage? I do three a week, 4 if no cover. Max company allows is 4 in a week.

We've all been poorly here. 7 year old woke at 2:30 and couldn't resettle, got an awful sore throat and barking cough so we gave up and came downstairs. Also had a terrible night's sleep the previous night so feeling pretty dead on my feet.
That's nothing compared to many on here though. Hope everyone feels better soon and sending healing thoughts etc.

Going through a bout of insomnia or something lately. I can fall asleep no problem but I cannot stay asleep. I can function fully but it is so boring being awake at this time of day. Cannot leave the house, cannot start on housework just cant do anything. So annoying.

I feel your pain. However rather than beating myself up about it, I try to put a positive spin on it. I focus on the fact that I’m cozy, we are all safe, it’s lovely to listen to my husband breathing, etc.

Ive been in hospital since 6 November and no matter who comes onto the ward to the bed next to mine, they're always a bloody snorer.

Unfortunately I have just recently gone through a breakup but I guess you are right, we have a roof over our heads, we are safe and alive and healthy and best of all access to the internet to vent to strangers lol

5 year old woke at 2.30 for a wee, then cos of "monsters". Fell back asleep for about 30 minutes before 8 month old woke for milk.
8 month old then wouldn't go back down in cot so been up with coffee and babe in arms since 3.40!

Tbf I did go to bed at 7.30 so atleast got a chunk of sleep but STILL! I would of preferred not to have those interruptions last night!

Sorry to hear that Belladonna, I know I have never slept properly in hospital, apart from that is it helping you?

I'm up because noisy DD (22) had the cheek to arrive home 1/2 hour ago and start making food !
