I went to bed around half ten and conked out straight away. Woke up around half 1 and still no sign of getting back to sleep. I'll be knackered tomorrow.

Going through a wonderful bout of insomnia recently.

Woke up about half an hour ago so got myself a cordial. I'd like tea really but don't like clattering around this time of night.

Woke up 2.30 and just can not get back to sleep. Envy DH snoring away.

My dad is dying I think.
I hardly slept last night and here I am again

If possible get some voice recordings of you two talking, it will bring you comfort in the future

I have covid too and I’m pregnant so already uncomfortable. Awake since 3am worrying about how I’m going to get through a day at work tomorrow!

10 x 11 hour shifts

I can't switch off. I was emergency cover for 3 so will be paid overtime, moneys good at least!

If it helps I feel slightly jealous about all these shifts! I have to get some case studies done for MSc. They're well paid but bloody hell they take their time, it's a day here, day there.

In February it will be finished and I can focus on full time work, less stress about bills!

Insomnia and poorly child. I can never ever sleep properly, but unable to take medication to help due to lung issues. Been up for hours now and not remotely tired.

I work nights.
I find trying to be a day person hard.
I am not at work now.

I’m stressed and sad.

Have you taken any medication for it? I believe ibuprofen may help with the fever, somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Splash yourself a bit with cold water.

Pain and menopause

Sitting in hospital with my daughter who's only 4 months old and has had a really bad reaction to her 16 weeks vaccine. She's also been detected with COVID, unfortunately. Feeling sad and depressed. Thinking about how pathetic my in-laws have been throughout marriage.

I have a newborn who sounds like an extra in jurassic park while she sleeps making 'sleep when the baby sleeps' even more laughable than it is already.
