Just because there is a photo of someone in bed with a baby doesn’t mean they gave birth to it.

Why is stating a fact bitchy?

All a woman holding a baby in bed proves is that a woman is in bed holding a baby.

Can someone tell me how it's possible le at 49? Does it mean she somehow hasn't gone through the menopause?

I'm nearly 55 and still having periods. But the thought of having a baby at my age 😱

Anyone else of the same as her read their announcement and instantly feel exhausted!

I became a granny at 50 and care for the child PT, it’s tiring. However, I’m the last person to pass comment on someone else’s personal decisions and wish them well

mydogisthebest · 11/11/2023 20:03

Another stupid selfish couple that don't care about overpopulation

CuteCillian · 11/11/2023 20:05

What is wrong with posters not accepting a woman of this age can get pregnant/give birth?
My great grandma was 51. The oldest natural birth recorded was 59 I think?

I’m being realistic. How many women in real life do you know who have given birth at that age?

Dibblydoodahdah · 11/11/2023 20:06

PyongyangKipperbang · 11/11/2023 19:55

After all of mine (6) from aged late teens to late 30's I looked like I had had a bad day in a threshing machine for at least a fornight afterwards!

When I look back at pictures taken within a week of having my two DCs I’m slimmer than I am now. I wish I could fit into the size 10 dresses that I was wearing back then 😂

TheDuchessOfMN · 11/11/2023 20:11

I think she did give birth. She said something like they’ve “made it” after a nerve wracking 9 months, obviously referring to a high risk pregnancy.
The photo would just be as weird as hell otherwise, although Khloe Kardashian did similar and did admit to using a surrogate Confused

Greenpolkadot · 11/11/2023 20:11

They'll have lots of help, housekeepers.cleaners.,nannies..and Gordon will do all the cooking

Agreed, the sheer ignorance on this thread regarding menopause, specifically the assumption that every woman becomes infertile at age 50 is bizarre.
Educate yourselves for fuck sake.
With the advancement in IVF and egg freezing its absolutely believable she has birthed her
own child at 49.

Caththegreat · 11/11/2023 20:12

Too much selfish procreation by egotistical men with biblical notions.adopt or foster.as single people and childfree couples are judged these mad procreation need to be judged too.

No one else's business really is it. Never understand the infatuation with celebrity lifestyles. I find it bizarre.

Have you misunderstood what infatuation means?

Tighginn · 11/11/2023 20:15

Trying to keep up with David Beckham's tally

LakeTiticaca · 11/11/2023 20:15

I can't imagine why on earth any woman at 50 would wish to go through pregnancy, childbirth and dealing with broken nights, nappies, colic and everything else. It's exhausting enough when you are young and have plenty of stamina

VisionsOfSplendour · 11/11/2023 20:15

SantaBarbaraMonica · 11/11/2023 19:51

I feel sorry for them all. The dad is not a good husband. The most valuable thing in a family is trust and loyalty. They may have money but they don’t have that.

I dont know much about the family, why is he not a good husband?

Can they not count? There were already more Ramsey offspring than Beckham's unless you're saying that DB has secret children

Shopper727 · 11/11/2023 20:18

david beckham has 4, GR has 5 now 6 so I think he’s not trying to keep up with anyone?

I’m 44 and could not have another one. Each to their own though. My eldest sons have 3 siblings with their dad and new wife. There’s 21 tears between my eldest and his youngest brother. He’s lovely with them, look his sister out shopping last week (7) and brother to zoo today he makes the effort which is lovely

notahappybunny7 · 11/11/2023 20:19

Sorry but it’s utterly ridiculous. Their 6th child in their 50s. Can they not come to terms with not having babies anymore, I find this absolutely bizarre.

HangTheJib · 11/11/2023 20:20

A long and happy life to the baby.

I can't imagine already having 5 kids and wanting to go through it all again at almost 50. I understand in Victoria C-M's case if you've already had one child later in life you might want to have a second so that if worst happens and the parents die when the child is a youngish adult that they'll still have immediate family around them in the shape of a sibling. Or that may not have been their motivation at all!

Good luck to 'em anyway.

The Ramseys are extremely wealthy, Tana won't have to drag herself out to do the school run unless she absolutely wants to. They will almost certainly have help in the form of a housekeeper, cleaners, nannies and, er, what is it Gordon does? Oh yes...

Yes but you still have to interact with the kid as a parent for a significant proportion of time. Playing with them, reading to them, days out, etc. I can only imagine that the Ramseys must have decided this is how they want to spend their 50s and 60s. I do find it baffling, as Dd hit the late teens I felt life was opening up for me again, to do stuff for me. Maybe I’m not as maternal.

They don’t need to come to terms with it though do they, because they clearly can have a baby. She’s not ‘in her 50s’ just yet either.

ReaderIChangedMyName · 11/11/2023 20:23

Another gorgeous, supportive thread where women respect each other’s life choices and fully understand it’s absolutely feck all to do with them what another family chooses for their life together. 🙄

ok almost in her 50s then and anyone can have a baby with enough cash, 50s 60s beyond.
