What is the worst-tasting drink you have ever had ?

I've had plenty of ropey glasses of water (chemicals, fluoride, iron) and off milk. But my all time champion is Greene King IPA, absolutely the most foul, disgusting beer I have drunk in 34 years of legal alcohol consumption. The one pint I managed to finish didn't taste remotely of beer, more like weak golden syrup with some unspeakable additives. Many years ago, I had a glass of Merlot which tasted like burning rubber. My guess is that it wasn't off but needed longer in the bottle to mature. Regardless, it was horrible.

My late parents were both fans of pastis drinks such as Pernod and Ouzo. Just the smell was enough to put me off. Eww.

Decades ago, I'm reliably informed that the ubiquitous Watney's Red Barrel was the gold standard for witchpiss in the brewing industry.

Coconut water 🤮, who the hell drinks the stuff, it's rancid.

Pernot. The water from the taps in Disneyworld.

Tequila. A Margarita is my all time favorite cocktail, and I really like neat spirits, so the appallingness of tequila was a real shock!

Vodka made from camel milk. Tastes of bile.

Another vote for Aperol, closely followed by ouzo, creme de menthe and absinthe.
Monster and Prime energy drinks are also freaking foul.

Those saying coconut waters are nutters. Beautiful stuff.

Kefir. I really tried, but no, couldn't do it.

Cup of tea with goats milk - at someone’s house so I had to drink some of it.

Milk - just the smell makes me heave.

I'm shocked at the anti-aperol sentiment on this thread! A good Aperol Spritz is yummy (although agree a bad one is pretty rancid)

Something called Pripsen, raspberry flavoured threadworm medicine that was around in the 1970s. Absolutely vile stuff.

I tried to be healthy and made my own milk kefir at home. It's absolutely vile! Tasted like days old baby milk vomit 🤮
I now just drink the Biotiful supermarket kefir which is delicious (and probably not very good for me but who cares).

Anything containing alcohol. Contrary to people thinking I am just being boring I cannot bear the taste of it. It tastes of either vinegar or aftershave to me so I choose not to drink any which was of great annoyance to my exh.

Retsina. It smelled, and tasted like I imagine pine Toilet Duck does.

I had some at the exit to the baths rather than in the pump room yesterday, it was warm but didn't taste of very much which surprised me. Maybe it's a bit variable?

Didn't eat from the night before and went in had my blood test then they gave me a drink-then another blood test

Oh sweet Jesus,that drink was foul

It was like drinking liquid jelly,sugar and oil mixed together-Oddly no taste,it was the texture that made me gag

To make it even worse,it was an acid green colour (the nurse said it was the nicest one-i dread to think what the worst was)

Never again-and after all thar,the test was negative anyway

I love Yorkshire teas malted milk flavoured tea but aldis was nothing like it-it was like cheap tea with added grit

Red Bull and Dr Pepper. Uggh. Nothing to do with nourishing oneself. Not sure what the point of them is.

Back in the day the former East Germany's Coke was pretty vile.
