What is the worst-tasting drink you have ever had ?

I've had plenty of ropey glasses of water (chemicals, fluoride, iron) and off milk. But my all time champion is Greene King IPA, absolutely the most foul, disgusting beer I have drunk in 34 years of legal alcohol consumption. The one pint I managed to finish didn't taste remotely of beer, more like weak golden syrup with some unspeakable additives. Many years ago, I had a glass of Merlot which tasted like burning rubber. My guess is that it wasn't off but needed longer in the bottle to mature. Regardless, it was horrible.

My late parents were both fans of pastis drinks such as Pernod and Ouzo. Just the smell was enough to put me off. Eww.

Decades ago, I'm reliably informed that the ubiquitous Watney's Red Barrel was the gold standard for witchpiss in the brewing industry.

Aperol Spritz. Awful.

Inka Cola - just yellow fizzy artificially sweet hell!
Even DC didn't like it!

Come to think of it most fizzy drinks containing sweeteners are vile.

@CesareBorgia Arkell's is our local brewery and everyone around here agrees with you!

Many of what you all vehemently dislike is also on my list. My newest addition is a "soda" that is somewhat new here in the USA. It's called Poppi, but they truly need to change the second "p" to an "o". Vile stuff. One of the ingredients is apple cider vinegar. It's supposed to be the "new revolution" in soda. Gave a few cans to my DD and DGD. DD says she will mix it with alcohol to see if it's any better, but not a fan. DGD says she will mix it with other soda to see if it's better, but please don't send any more their way.

A cup of tea. Three sips and I could manage no more. Awful claggy feeling and disgusting aftertaste. I was a child but I've never overcome the awful smell of a cup of tea.

Me too. Was given a cup by a policemen when I was about 16 and one of my friends was beaten up. Didn’t realise what it was, and spat it out all over his uniform (I was genuinely in shock, not just rude). Disgusting.

Vodka and cider. My 18th. We ran out of mixers and it seemed like a good idea.

I raise you a Baileys & lager mix at a teenage party. A VERY BAD (& vomitty) idea. See also the 'snakebite & black' craze at Uni. Apart from that: colonoscopy prep. Most 'energy' drinks.

The butter beer at the Harry Potter studios!

Yes. I coughed up for one in the special commemorative 'glass' for Dd (aged 8 never knowing passed up a sweetie or fizzy drink). She took 1 mouthful ..

Aperol spritz
Whiskey
Coconut water
Vodka
Kombucha
White wine
All either headache or vomit inducing
