I have always had a Friday takeaway for as long as I can remember. I'm also saving for a wedding so trying to cut this down a bit and cook at home.

But sooooo exhausted come Fridays that I always cave! I've realised how much I've eaten out this week and spent on it so about to head to the supermarket.

What do you have on a Friday for a fuss free dinner - whether a bit of a treat or general everyday stuff.. I need to have a word with myself and get inspired for ideas that feel exciting or just super easy on a Friday!

Sainsburys pizza meal deal for dinner tonight - two pizzas, two sides and dip for £12 which suits the three of us perfectly.

We're having a mix of salmon and chicken tikka with a veggie curry and some shop-bought onion bhajis and naan bread. My parents are here so I'm making a little more effort than some Fridays!

We usually have take out on Friday but trying to economise. Roast salmon oven chips and peas. It was nice 😀

I went to Five Guys on the way home and picked up a bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms :-)

Duck with pancakes.

So we had chip shop chips, and had ham, egg, chips and peas. With the leftover gammon from earlier in the week. Was good to have something quite different and yummy.

Calves liver in red wine, bacon and sage. Little roasted and peas. Gorgeous

Vegatarian schnitzel and fried potatoes, with béarnaise sauce.

Trout fillet baked with orange. Salad with crunchy leaves, cucumber, spring onions, tomatoes and olives. Potatoes boiled in their skin with a little butter. Added coleslaw and hummus

Are you including time to go and harvest the rice?!

OH is making us a cheese, cracker and charcuterie board. And gin of course.

DC had cottage pie and beans and a pot of joy with Crunchie bits.
I had a wholemeal pitta with blue cheese, figs and honey, and a persimmon and a fibre bar.

I think this is the route I'm going. That or steak 🤔
