Someone with plenty of money but poor taste.

TattiePants · 20/10/2023 17:39

If ever there was an example of money over taste, this is it. It looked quite interesting from the outside (apart from the drive) but the ‘extensive renovations’ are anything but ‘stunning’.

chipsandpeas · 20/10/2023 16:09

id break every bone in my body with those marble floors

I was just thinking that!

Lakeyloo · 20/10/2023 17:42

I'm going with a property developer. The address is registered to someone who is a company director, something to do with property development...... I need to get a life 😕

Stoic123 · 20/10/2023 17:43

Him.

Who lives in this house??
merrymelodies · 20/10/2023 17:46

Someone with lots of money and poor taste.

PopSocksRock · 20/10/2023 16:17

I'm loving the sculptures
It would be great house to play Murder in the dark

I'm sure it would be more like death by misadventure in the dark.

Chedderbites2 · 20/10/2023 17:48

Wow 😱 an alcoholic with all that wine? A business man perhaps or a footballer as previously suggested. Seems a sin that some people can't even afford heating at the minute 😕

LaMadameCholet · 20/10/2023 17:52

That Pimlico Plumber bloke?

Threewheeler1 · 20/10/2023 17:52

So many things to twat your head on in there! It's not for me, I need a padded environment 😁

BroomHandledMouser · 20/10/2023 17:52

Definitely not me - I would NEVER let my wine cabinet get that full

Threewheeler1 · 20/10/2023 17:54

Lovemychair · 20/10/2023 16:00

JR Ewing

He lives! Again!😂

Zone2NorthLondon · 20/10/2023 17:54

Thank you for posting I love a neb at someone’s gauche house. Looks like a Toby carvery

footballer I guess?

Beargrumps22 · 20/10/2023 17:59

there was a house near us all done up then some company came in furnished it all etc so buyer just came in lived there then sold and moved on when they wanted a change. to me this place looks like that very designer but no personality. with my track record of accidents i think i would have broken bones in no time

Lilibert456 · 20/10/2023 18:05

What an unloved house. Furnishings are tacky and tasteless. True that you can't buy class.

LadyLapsang · 20/10/2023 18:05

I’m going with owned by a developer but leased to either a footballer / agent, perhaps with his main home (& family?) abroad - very masculine house, but the old fashioned chair would surely be out of kilter with that, as a footballer would want an ergonomic chair, so perhaps not a sportsman, or his agent / business adviser sits at the desk. Clearly, I am over-invested here!

sadeyedladyofthelowlandsea · 20/10/2023 18:06

Meniscus · 20/10/2023 16:05

No one. It’s one of those soulless, expensive rentals, interior-designed by a committee to the buzzwords ‘bling’ and ‘unexceptional’. It has all the charm and individuality of a Holiday Inn on a retail park.

I'm literally sitting in a Holiday Inn next to an A road Grin . Not only is my room at least ten times more welcoming than that monstrosity, the staff were doing a lucky dip for everyone they checked in, and I've won a free drink.

That house is just so bleak! I imagine it is quite stunning, considering how many times you'd concuss yourself skidding over on the floors.

ItsRebekahVardy · 20/10/2023 18:07

6.7 million! Muso

ItsRebekahVardy · 20/10/2023 18:08

Stoic123 · 20/10/2023 17:43

Him.

😂

JoeGrundyWasMyRoleModel · 20/10/2023 18:10

Absolutely tacky. Much nicer pre-vandalism.
And that first short flight of stairs looks to have dangerously narrow treads, especially with all that marble around.

YoDood · 20/10/2023 18:13

Someone who has paid a lot of money for really very mediocre interior design. Utterly soulless and dull.

RosaMoline · 20/10/2023 18:15

A beautiful home with character from the outside, but completely without soul or warmth on the inside.

ElleCapitaine · 20/10/2023 18:15

Ryan Giggs - I can imagine him in a house like that, or perhaps a Russian oligarch. The shape of the turquoise sofa is popular in Turkey/Middle East so it might be owned by a Saudi family though rarely used by them - though the wedding photos look more western.

ElleCapitaine · 20/10/2023 18:16

It’s very Kelly Hoppen - the bland leading the bland.

whatsappdoc · 20/10/2023 18:20

The giraffes would give me nightmares. I imagine looking out of the windows at dusk and them walking slowly towards me...
