Someone with no taste? Sorry to be bitchy but those are my first thoughts. Boring grey, cold colour schemes, a house with no personality. I think a home should demonstrate something of the person living there. The wine cellar is just too show offy.

Ylvamoon · 20/10/2023 16:46

The Wallpaper bookshelf says it all.

Rich, egoistic, careless, male without a soul.

ShutTheDoorBabe · 20/10/2023 16:47

If I was a millionaire, I still wouldn't want to live in a place like this. It just doesn't look cosy or lived in. It looks cold and quite uninviting. Almost like a Big Brother type house rather than someone's home.

BasiliskStare · 20/10/2023 16:49

As long as not me ( although I would love the budget ) I don't mind who lives there . It looks like a developer do up & sell it on.

NorthernLiner · 20/10/2023 16:50

The wedding photo on the left looks like Tom & Gi Fletcher (Bride - dark hair, groom - lanky, bespectacled)

Possibly Emma & Matt Willis?

JellyMops · 20/10/2023 16:54

I was thinking pimp or Russian mobster or both.

TheFlis · 20/10/2023 16:56

A quick search shows that AH are initials of the house name, not the owner. I now actually know who owns it and they are not famous, they’re a property investor.

Tocktocknearlybedtime · 20/10/2023 16:56

Hate the floor, makes my feet cold at the sight of it. Plus it's going to hurt when you fall.

From the first photo of the oitside I thought it would be nice but no, I hated it from the first indoor photo- I'd never buy it. I like wood and homely not marble and cold.

crumblingschools · 20/10/2023 16:56

What’s the statue in photo 21?

Vegemiteandhoneyontoast · 20/10/2023 16:59

That picture says 'Gravel on the car, in the carpet and in the treads of your shoes' and not much else.

SometimesNine · 20/10/2023 17:00

Someone pretentious? I don't see a single room that I like.

Raincloudsonasunnyday · 20/10/2023 17:00

Zoom in on any of the photos and you might work it out!

TheFlis · 20/10/2023 17:00

crumblingschools · 20/10/2023 16:56

What’s the statue in photo 21?

In the shower? It’s a David replica isn’t it?

BotterMon · 20/10/2023 17:04

Someone devoid of personality who can afford for the estate agent to stage the house to sell it like they do in the U.S. even for run of the mill houses.

Hellomynameisnt · 20/10/2023 17:04

Me! I do wear thick socks and after too many visits to the wine fridge, I forget which kitchen cupboard has the crisps.

I don't have any friends. But the big dining room table is great for doing jigsaws on

IncompleteSenten · 20/10/2023 17:05

Someone who's not scared of slipping on those floors.

BaconEggAndCoffee · 20/10/2023 17:05

What does it say on the picture

'A day without ? Is a day wasted'

ChocolateCinderToffee · 20/10/2023 17:06

There appears to be a moggy lying on one of the bookshelves in the study. I thought they were fake books, and now I want to know if it's a real cat or not.

Thelittleweasel · 20/10/2023 17:06

There are various documents which you can check if you are "really" interested!

The electoral roll is a free public document [available at Council offices] and Land Registry provides a deed of registration for - from memory - £3. If it's owned by a company (as is possible) Companies House has a website.

catzrulz · 20/10/2023 17:07

My main thought was what a cold house. As PP said the outside is lovely, the inside, not so.

TheFlis · 20/10/2023 17:07

I have seen that wallpaper in a pub before 🤣The cat is part of the picture.

Notellinganyone · 20/10/2023 17:07

That is absolutely hideous. Vulgar doesn’t begin to cover it.

NorthernLiner · 20/10/2023 17:08

BaconEggAndCoffee · 20/10/2023 17:05

What does it say on the picture

'A day without ? Is a day wasted'

A day without laughter

RedToothBrush · 20/10/2023 17:10

GingerLiberalFeminist · 20/10/2023 15:53

Someone with no children or pets, hobbies or interests imo!

I mean, it's impressivly big and clean but it's soulless.

You know the first post nails it.

The word I was going to use is 'soulless'.

Why would I want to know someone who lives in such a soulless place?

rosemaryandparsley · 20/10/2023 17:10

I feel chilly just looking at all those tiled floors, definitely an accident waiting to happen.

Does it echo when you walk about, I didn't see a carpet anywhere?

Is the gravel drive to save on a burglar alarm, must be noisy?

Brrrrr, soulless and cold.

It's a 'no' from me.
