It's 19.5 degrees C. in my house currently (East Mids). It feel it'scold although I don't fancy putting the heating on when that's quite a normal temp so holding off. What about you?

It’s 20.5. Earlier it was 19 when I had the doors and windows open and it got a little chilly so I shut them after an hour and grabbed my Oodie. Now the suns streaming in and it’s 20.5 and I’m warm again so thinking about cracking a window. No hearing on yet although I guess it won’t be much longer.

tobee · 05/10/2023 12:31

20.5 SW London.

Put on warm socks last evening and a thin zip up over my t shirt but not anticipating needing heating on for a good while yet. It's supposed to be 25 degrees tomorrow (outside) so looking forward to sitting in the garden for a bit

Lupin61 · 05/10/2023 12:32

mine is 19.5 in the East Midlands but feels chilly as it’s such a cloudy day. Don’t think I’ll put it on for another 6 weeks unless it gets unbearable. I’ll try just use a thick blanket on the sofa and wear warm jumpers until then

tobee · 05/10/2023 12:32

25 degrees Saturday not tomorrow fwiw

charabang · 05/10/2023 12:33

18.2 in my living room. I worked from yesterday and felt distinctly chilly but I am going to try to see out October in woolly socks and a blankie. I will put the electric blanket back on the bed this weekend though.

DinnaeFashYersel · 05/10/2023 12:37

It's 18C indoors but that's because I've had the heating on for quite a few weeks weeks.

Outdoors it's 10C and chucking it down with rain.

Scotland

Andywarholswig · 05/10/2023 12:40

It’s 23c in my home office in London on the north facing side of the house - it’s 25c in the south facing rooms

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 05/10/2023 12:43

21.5 in the house and possibly warmer in the garden office that I’m just about to go out to do some work in, I might even have to put a fan on 😁

CirceIsMyHomegirl · 05/10/2023 12:46

16 in the kitchen (10 outside), where I work from home. I wrap up a bit, but haven't lit the fire (only source of heating in my house) yet but probably will in the next few weeks.

JustACountryMusicGirlInCowboyBoots · 05/10/2023 12:48

17 and no heating on yet.

LemonRedwood · 05/10/2023 12:50

My thermostat says 19.5 but I'm sure it's lying because I feel cold.

Or 19.5 indoors is actually colder than 19.5 outdoors!

LardoBurrows · 05/10/2023 12:53

Around 22C here in S.E. Back of house is south facing and with conservatory on the back it is lovely and warm. Evenings are noticeably cooler though and have been putting on a sweatshirt when watching TV. Thinking it might be time to swap my 4.5 tog duvet to the 9 tog. No electric blanket on the bed yet and no CH on yet.

Ihateslugs · 05/10/2023 12:53

It’s currently 16.5° and not likely to increase as cloudy outside. I am fine as I’ve been baking but I’ve got people coming round tonight so I will pop the heating on for an hour or so in the evening as I know they will feel cold - I tend to need lower heat temps than most people, rarely heat my house above 19° even in the winter.

RichardArmitagesWife · 05/10/2023 12:54

16 degrees, not put the heating on.

AuntieMarys · 05/10/2023 12:54

16 degrees inside the house. No heating.

Margarita45 · 05/10/2023 12:55

Scotland. Temp just dropped below 17 so I instantly hit the boost button on the hive - 30 mins and now 18.5.

Worriedaandconfused · 05/10/2023 13:17

Here's my forecast for the next 10 days. As@Lupin61 says, because it's overcast it definitely feels cooler. Looks like it's set to warm up a bit tomorrow but still no sunshine here!

18c and no, I've got the windows open!

tigger1001 · 05/10/2023 13:37

We are hovering around 19 degrees in the living room - colder upstairs. But that's a good temperature for us as none of us i the house feel the cold easily.

Heating won't be on for a good while yet - hopefully not until end November

PeopleAreWeird · 05/10/2023 13:38

19, when the heating is on it doesnt go above 20/21
It doesnt feel cold at all.
I have windows open in most rooms

VeridicalVagabond · 05/10/2023 13:38

17, no heating yet but I do have my mini oil radiator under my desk to keep my toes warm

Zebedee55 · 05/10/2023 13:38

24 degrees indoors at the moment.

Forecast to be 26 degrees outside here, over the weekend. (London).

I'm still using fans...🙄

Riapia · 05/10/2023 13:39

21.3 no heating. East Mids.

PuggyInTheMuddle · 05/10/2023 13:40

19.5 degrees indoors, v warm out, I’m not putting the heating on til November.

Pleaseme · 05/10/2023 13:42

Freezing about 16 degrees here. It's pretty cold outside and wet (scotland) I have lit the woodstove to take that chill/ damp feeling out the air. It should be enough to keep us going for a few weeks before central heating.
