Have you had your heating on yet?

My thermostat says my house is 18.5 degrees this morning and it feels really cold already! I've actually never had a thermostat before until now, in my old house I just used to put the heating on as and when but I'm thinking I should set it at a temperature so that it kicks in.

Anybody else had their heating on yet, and what temperature is your thermostat set at?

And today, it was 21 degrees and muggy, but with a warm wind later, and I was back in shorts. Very strange.

Yes, it felt unusually warm late afternoon here. We went for a walk and my car registered 20 degrees.
