Most memorable soap moment?

I know it's been endlessly mentioned, but it still for me has to be the Kat and Zoe scene from Eastenders : "You ain't my mother! " "Yes, I am!"

@mikado1 No she didn't but made everybody else think she did. Not sure what the writers were thinking with that storyline!

Thought of another one...the brother/sister incest storyline on Brookside. I can still picture their faces. Brookside had no chill at all with all the controversy.

Hayley Cropper’s death in Corrie was one of the saddest things I’ve seen.

Also more recently Cerberus dying in Evelyn’s arms. I cried real tears at that. Maureen lipman is the best actress/character in Corrie by a country mile at the moment.

Omg Cerberus dying was so sad and it was so relatable to many of us. I’m glad Corrie did that storyline.

Oh god the dog dying was unbearable. I hate seeing animals hurt/dying in films and TV and I was in a state.

There was a cot death story in take the high road. It was Natalie robb who now is in emmerdale I am sure. It’s never left me in 30 years.
