The Corrie scene where Gemma and Chesney went to a baby support group and a young mum gave a very moving tearful speech about loving her baby but not bonding with her, it was so well-acted.

i remember the news report of the film reel arriving in the UK with lots of security that’s how but it was that was news. I had a I shot JR mug 😊 the build up was a social phenomenon

Dallas I put in a different category to Corrie etc as their lives were so glamorous and so far removed but it’s still a soap opera. I loved the Oil Barons Ball episodes and at 11 had a crush on JR 😬

I must admit I’ve found myself accidentally watching it just lately - I was shocked to see Alf and Irene looking exactly the same !

YY to Blanche at the AA meeting in Corrie. It still makes me laugh inside when I think of it. Pure comedy gold. Sadly, Corrie turned to shite a few years ago and I gave up watching it.

Shops around here had T-shirts with "I shot JR" on them.

Can't imagine that happening these days, there would be hell up!

She knew she was pregnant and framed poor Roy. It was really distressing to watch. I don't think she actually slept with him though, did she? He was drugged and unconscious.
