One utterly unnecessary thing you really want.

Mine is a tiara - not necessarily an expensive one - costume jewellery really - but I would never have an occasion to wear one, and as I have a face like a homely potato, I’d look ridiculous in one. But I still get that little yearning, if I see one on FB or Etsy.

Do it! I had mine done at 18 and my mum was very unimpressed with me! I am 37 now, and have never had any issues with it, or chipped any of my teeth like people warned me I would. Feels really odd when I take it out to clean and it’s not there anymore, but I don’t ever notice it day to day unless someone mentions it. Very aware of it right now typing this out!

This thread has been unbelievably satisfying and I have no idea why 😂 mine is I want better pressure for the shower. I don’t know if it’s the shit water pressure, shit shower head or both, but I’m sick of having a poor half arsed shower. Pregnancy hormones were raging this morning and I sobbed about my shit shower.

There's an old book in a bric a brac shop near me. It's not rare or large or famous, but it's £35 and probably worth £10. But I really want it and can't stop thinking about it 😪

Also really want a set of smallpipes and a hurdy gurdy. Both far too expensive for what is little more than an adult toy for me (I can play many instruments but not well enough to do so in public lol)

I would love a teasmade. I have a DH who brings me a coffee every morning, but I'd still like a teasmade for lazy mornings when I'm just reading in bed!

Ooooh @HoraceTheLlama thanks for your reply. I'm actually on maternity leave at the moment, so no pesky meetings I need to speak in, so could go to ground with some ice cream and mashed potato for a little while and resurface for a kit day and just act like I've had it for ages!

A Citroen Ami. Even went as far as to test drive one and although it feels like driving an ice cream carton, it still didn't totally put MC off. Unfortunately I don't live in a city and travelling everywhere at 28 miles an hour just wouldn't be practical. I really want one though.

I would like a big, noisy and slightly flashy (but still sleek and elegant) car. Not sure what exactly but I'm open to suggestions!

You do know if you get a horse you need to get him a friend ,and you will have to get the friend a friend so when you take your horse out the friend has someone to play with , but you also need to get another horse incase they don't get on with each other . . . .😁🐴🫏🐎

There are so many things on this thread that are attainable, like being slim or owning a house or owning a horse

The horse will happen one day I hope. I'm learning more so I can be a good horse mum. It's definitely unnecessary though.

I want a train set that goes all round the garden and there's all the features, like embankments and bridges over ponds and tunnels and miniature signal boxes and a couple of stations where I could place little people and give them characters like my sister and I used to do with our farm animals and Britains gymkhana set. And put a camera on top of the first carriage so I can watch the perspective of my garden click-clacking past.

And a veranda, but on a house in a hot country where you really CAN have breakfast outside.
