Mine is a tiara - not necessarily an expensive one - costume jewellery really - but I would never have an occasion to wear one, and as I have a face like a homely potato, I’d look ridiculous in one. But I still get that little yearning, if I see one on FB or Etsy.

Something else I’ve wanted all my life. Pointe shoes. I never danced en pointe as a child but always wanted to. Was crazy about ballet. I have seriously thought about buying myself some just because.

A coffee machine.
I am the only adult in my house and I purchased a ridiculously fucking expensive one person cafetiere and is shit.
I only drink one coffee a day though cos caffeine gives me the wobbles.

Also, a boyfriend. That really is unnecessary 🤣

I really, really want a pressure washer. I can't afford a pressure washer. I'd only use it once or twice a year and we have nowhere to store it, I can't justify the purchase at all but I reeally want one.

I'd like a cargo bike. I don't drive, so there is some logic, but I also don't really go farther than I can happily cycle without the e assist. And theoretically DS1 should be cycling more by himself rather than sitting on the back of a bike. But I'm still trying to work out how to afford one...

When I was in my 20s, my flat mate and I used to sometimes get dressed up in black tie for an evening in 😂 I think it started when I was trying on dresses to decide which one to wear to an event and we thought it was fun flouncing around on a Tuesday night in a ball gown.

I bought myself the expensive boots I linked earlier on in the thread, a couple of weeks ago now 😊 Down from almost £300, to £99. I watched them for months and then was gutted when my size sold out.

Popped into Kurt Geiger on the off chance, and they had one pair left! So happy prancing about the house in them!

I'm currently re watching Detectorists for about the 6th time. I really want a top notch metal detector. Of course I'd probably use it once then get disillusioned when I didn't automatically find a saxon gold hoard. It would end up standing in the corner of the kitchen taking up space. like everything else

Also really want a good coffee machine, but can't justify it as I don't drink enough coffee. (It's simply to reminisce about the amazing smell of fresh coffee from the years I owned a coffee shop and had a beautiful, vintage Italian machine)

I have the one from my wedding, it was only £25 but very pretty. Occasionally I wear it when I'm vacuuming to make me feel special.
