I love RB as I already stated. I think he's incredibly charismatic and sexy. I find intelligence a huge turn on, and like him or not he is incredibly smart.

That said, me finding him hot and hilarious doesn't make him not a rapist, any more than people who find him unappealing makes him a rapist.

You can't tell if someone is a bad person because of how they look.

Do you think this out of reality lifestyle leads to either make people like Brand feel so secure that they can say whatever they want (and put themselves out there as a target for accusation), or do whatever they want (and actually commit said dreadful crimes whatever they may be)?

I also get the distinct impression that all of this may have nothing to do with Brand or not be solely about him. No point in getting excited.

At the moment, it’s definitely not the biggest story of the year. At the moment it isn’t actually the biggest story of the day. It’s third on the guardian online, I can’t see it on the BBC website at all and it’s second to XL bully dogs on most tabloid sites. Of course that could change it 40 minutes.

This is just famous/ high profile people in general, I don't see the big shock in this at all. It's not just comedians that do this.

Actually it’s IMO only a matter of time before either mn or an individual poster is sued over some of the allegations which are spread around on this website.

Assuming channel4 haven’t actually said that this is about RB, and all the rest is just tabloid speculation, it’s entirely likely that it is nothing of the sort.

There is a very A list 'sir' that has had rumours about him in a certain 'hobby' community for years. He used the hobby to access and groom boys. I always thought he would die before it came out... if the rumours were true.

It'd be good if we'd actually wait for the evidence/allegations to be made before we all start declaring guilty.

In the same way that liking or enjoying someone's work doesn't mean they didn't rape anyone - An allegation doesn't definitively mean it 100% happened either.
It's also plausible that he simply pissed off a lot of women during his addict days for.. well... Being an addict. Addict behaviour etc.
All we can do is speculate.

I'm no fan of RB, I think he's a dirty greasy haired attention seeking conspiracist and a bit of a misogynist, said this I hope all this "expose" is properly accompanied by police reports that will back up those claims otherwise I'm going to think this is a media vendetta against him for xyz reasons. When Harvey Weinstein was outed the police reports for rape had been piling up for years, there was a major police investigation where a few women had been put a wire, a pile of evidence existed and that's why all came to light. I have no clue as to what's behind those RB claims and heavily suspect no one else here has it either. The fact he's been shagging left and right doesn't mean much really.
