Escaped convict - Anyone else slightly fascinated by how he's escaping capture?

I don't know why but this has captured my imagination. Daniel Khalife escaped prison by clinging to the underside of a delivery van. Now I'm wondering when did he let go? Where did he hide? Is it like the fugitive where he hides in a hen house out house and steals a doctor's uniform from a hospital? Where would you hide if you had to? Where do you get food and water and shelter?

I wonder how his trial will go now? If he was an informant for Iran wouldn’t they have assisted him even if just to embarrass the UK further on the world stage? Or not worth the hassle?

I’d be surprised if it goes ahead this Autumn. There will be some new charges.

Everything I've read about him makes me think he's got ASD.

He'll face charges under the prison act now but I'm more interested in how he did it assuming he had no help!

Prisons are full of people with ASD. Can't see what that's got to do with it though..

Late to my own thread tut tut. Was busy cleaning and missed the news. I thought he'd evade capture for longer and have got further away to be honest. Just goes to show how surveilled we are these days.

There's been talk in some places that members of the public called in sightings, so I'm not sure if it's a case of more surveillance, more a case of just perhaps he wasn't anything like as skilled at escape and evasion as some sources were trying to make out.

Oh here we go. Poor behaviour being blamed on autism as usual. So unfair to autistic people. Can the armchair psychologists please shut up.
