What's your simple pleasure?

For me, today, it is sitting in the hammock under the trees listening to the radio while the sun shines.

My morning and afternoon latte coffee.

A large cup of hot quality coffee on waking, with a little "sugar". Followed by scrambled eggs on wholegrain toasted, buttered Irish soda bread, followed by fruit and a glass of very cold milk or juice. 😋

Walking through the woods with a cup of nice takeaway coffee and a fresh almond croissant

Toad in the hole on an autumn night 🍂

Homemade salted chocolate covered brandy caramels 😋

The smell of a construction site, bon fire then thinking if i had, a plate of baked beans, sausages, eggs and chips, and wrapped up sat near the bon fire, eating the meal.

or the smell of engine oil as when younger i used to help fix or attempt to repair parts on car engines and or paint the underside of land rovers to protect from the weather and the smell of engine oils became the norm.

Having the adult DC home to visit, especially all together.

Finding a good bargain on Vinted.

A shower then getting into clean sheets on a cold, dark, stormy night. Absolutely nothing better.
