Assuming you have one that is

I have my summer one on currently. It's silk and 3-4 tog. Just realised I feel a bit ... chilly

Feels too early to put the winter one back on but may have to tomorrow

How about you?

1.5 tog throughout the year.

FlowerTink · 01/09/2023 00:25

In my winter one here! Changed it today

2chocolateoranges · 01/09/2023 00:27

I have a 13.5 tog one all year round. I hate being cold.

@VeniVidiWeeWee do you not feel the cold? Or live in Bali? Grin

My summer duvet is 10 tog, winter is 13.5 plus blankets! I do live in a cold house though

Tassen · 01/09/2023 00:30

4 tog duvet all year round (but sheet when it's really hot)
And window open all year round unless it drops below -10C

I love the cold!

PerilTheBeryl · 01/09/2023 00:33

15 tog all year round plus 4 blankets (one weighted) in exactly the same position. I do have the window open.

mrsfollowill · 01/09/2023 00:35

What a mixture of replies! I live in NE England and it's a bit chilly here tonight. 7.5 tog feather duvet year round but lie next to furnace heated DH. Hot Summer nights just sleep on top of the bed with no covers and the fans going. Odd night it's just me in there in Winter I put a fleecy blanket on top.

CallieQ · 01/09/2023 00:36

10 tog all year round

LardoBurrows · 01/09/2023 00:40

Still got my summer 4.5 tog on and it's fine except for my feet feeling a bit chilly tonight and was just thinking it might be time to switch to my 9 tog. When it gets really cold, usually December, I'll clip them both together to give me a lovely cozy 13.5 tog.

greenspaces4peace · 01/09/2023 00:41

just popped it in (goes in a duvet cover). ahead of myself by 1 day.

ShadyPaws · 01/09/2023 00:47

Contemplating it
I've got an empty duvet cover on and a blanket, my usual duvet is 13 tog wool

purpleme12 · 01/09/2023 00:49

Nooooo.
It's 19 degrees in bedroom (window is open) summer tog is still fine

Bbq1 · 01/09/2023 00:51

Must be joking, i still have the fans in our room(not currently on tho) ans windows open but they are open year round. We will add a fleece blanket and/or a patchwork slim quilt if it's really cold.

Ihateslugs · 01/09/2023 00:54

I cannot change to my winter duvet ( 10.5 tog) until I get it dry cleaned. It’s too big to fit in my washing machine and the two local launderettes have shut recently! I’m struggling to find a place where I can go and use large machines, the washing instructions say do not dry clean or tumble dry.

Luckily I am a hot person so used my summer duvet last year until the really cold spell we had in January - hopefully gives me time to find a new launderette!

Floralnomad · 01/09/2023 00:54

We use a 3 tog all year and I currently have 2 fans going in my bedroom .

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 01/09/2023 00:57

Yes we put an extra duvet on top of our summer one to make it warmer. The windows are open in the bedroom all the time so cat can come and go. It’s chilly tonight here in Yorkshire.

BinturongsSmellOfPopcorn · 01/09/2023 01:05

The summer one never made it out of the cupboard this year. Still firmly on 13.5 tog. We've not yet added the blanket back, though, and it's been several weeks since the last use of the wheat bags.

angharadsgoat · 01/09/2023 01:12

God no, not yet! Here we're predicted temps of around 20-22 degrees for the nest week as far as I can see.

I'd guess it might be mid or late October before the winter bedding and electric blankets come out. If it's anything like last year.

Where are you?

I've thought about putting mine back together this week but realise that will guarantee I'll be too warm next week. But I'm definitely not quite cosy. Always sleep with the windows open.

1stTimeMama · 01/09/2023 01:15

I never took it off! There's been about 9 days this year when it's been a bit warm, summer be damned this year.

MrsTaytodarling · 01/09/2023 01:18

13.5 tog today! But more for comfort. Can't say I've been feeling cold but it's misery to look out

Today was definitely cooler. Had to put slippers and a jumper on to stave off the cold. Briefly, thought about flicking on the heating but trying to hold out until late September. Warmer duvet went on this week as well. I like to be toasty.
