Watching on Netflix, no spoilers, apart from what a woman she is and what a family they are.

This would be the Tyson Fury who said:

"It's up to everybody what they want to do. I'm all for it; I'm not a sexist. I believe if a man can to go work all his life, a woman can. Who am I to say 'don't do that 'cause you're a girl?' But I believe a woman's best place is in the kitchen and on her back. That's my personal belief. Making me a good cup of tea -- that's what I believe."

Really?

JazzyBBG · 20/08/2023 23:40

Dear God. One episode was enough.
What is it with boxers and high pitched voices? (Tyson, Eubank, Fury)...
when he rants he goes a bit gruff but when he speaks sensibly it's actually really high.
The swearing in front of the kids and the 4 year old sticking his middle finger up was enough.

You have to give more of an opinion

Yea I'm not sure if it's their fake Irish accents..... they don't live in Ireland

I love that her house is clean.

She dresses nicely - not my style but she dresses well for herself,

Plus doesn't have the big filler lips. Her look is quite natural in that she's had her hair done etc but the face is still natural.

Namechangedforthis25 · 21/08/2023 00:45

What a family they are in what sense?!

surely not to be admired? Surely not inspirational?

pisspants · 21/08/2023 00:51

I think Paris is brilliant, she is clearly very intelligent and presents herself well. its lovely to see that they genuinely love each other which is sweet and they have been together since they were young and before Tommy got famous, so its not a usual wag type relationship. A lot of the stuff people are mentioning, not just on here, but elsewhere is part of their culture - womens roles etc, and they are both obviously still deeply connected to their heritage and want to make sure they pass that on to their children.

That’s your review?

charliechaplins · 21/08/2023 00:57

@continentallentil do you have a review?

But they are too some people.

What have they done that's so bad?

MaydinEssex · 21/08/2023 01:03

This is a repeat, I watched it a couple of years ago, think they have another baby on the way now

Googlelina · 21/08/2023 01:07

I find it superficially entertaining but ultimately deeply problematic.

  1. Their 12 year old daughter doesn’t not attend school but is “home schooled”. This consists of visits to TV studios, nail bars and filming tic tocs.
  2. TF subjects his wife to near constant emotional abuse- alternating between ignoring and then insulting her.
  3. He spends far more time with his sons than his daughters.
  4. He leaves his family to go on trips at the drop of a hat, apparently with no consideration for what plans his wife might have or what disruption this causes to their family.

A lot of his behaviour bares the hallmarks of coercive control.

So that makes sexism ok then? Because it's part of their culture?

charliechaplins · 21/08/2023 01:13

@Scienceadvisory yes it's fine and not sexist.

mumof1or2 · 21/08/2023 01:32

Have you never heard a gypsy accent before?!

It isn't a repeat. Was filmed in the second half of 2022. The fight with Derek was in November last year.

Have you heard someone not speak with a local dialect?

I take it you're not aware he's a windup merchant.

American0281 · 21/08/2023 07:46

I watched the first episode, thought he was a massive man child. The scene at the christening when he has a go at Paris for thinking their child was missing and then huffs off home was enough for me.

charliechaplins · 21/08/2023 09:31

@Youdontsay87 no that's his Legit thoughts

Is it the antisemitism or the homophobia that particularly appeals to you?
