Tyson fury, and Paris

Watching on Netflix, no spoilers, apart from what a woman she is and what a family they are.

Paris is an incredible woman.

Please don’t underestimate the effects of growing up in the traveller culture, it won’t be as simple as ‘LTB’ nor do I think it would actually make her happy. Outwardly their relationship looks like a bit of a nightmare to me but I think she quietly wears the trousers while he throws his toys out of the pram and huffs and puffs around.

I also really admire that despite all their cash and status she hasn’t pumped her lips up or had shite injected into her face, she’s got quite a unique style which isn’t entirely ‘FASHION’ like Molly Mae.

I really like her look. Can defo tell she's a traveller but she looks so classy and I love the face that's not ballooned up.

Agree I was quite surprised by her lack of facial tweaks. Amazing figure having had 6 children though!!

Find it crazy she's taken the eldest out of school for homeschooling though, it's really a shame. Thought I read it somewhere that Tyson wasn't in favour of that decision which I was impressed with at the time. Culture does of course have a lot to do with it but as the culture goes I think he's probably more respectful of his wife than most would be.

I struggle with how he treats Paris. I know some people have commended him for being open about his mental health struggles, but I find his 'I treat her like shit and it's awful, but i can't help it' attitude problematic. His bipolar is used as an excuse for being emotionally abusive. She's treading on eggshells all the time and bending over backwards to accommodate his mood swings and impulsivity. I can imagine that, despite having 6 kids, her life is much easier and smoother when he's spending time away from them all training and boxing and she's in charge of running the family.

Having a mental illness is not a blanket excuse to treat people like shit.

He treats her like shit and has slept with over 500 women while they've been together that's zero respect.

I can't believe he's only 35 and she's only 32.

Lots of travellers speak with that accent.
If you ever go to Swindon there are lots of people who were born in the town who speak as though they were born in the East End.
And in Corby there are people who sound as if they were born in Glasgow,not Corby. Or there were when I lived nearby.

They're from an Irish traveller background, they're not true Gypsies (i.e. Romany).

1) Their 12 year old daughter doesn’t not attend school but is “home schooled”. This consists of visits to TV studios, nail bars and filming tic tocs.

Yeah the clip where Paris says that her daughter can be anything she wants to be, such as a doctor, didn't ring true when you find out she's being home schooled. Somehow I doubt she has maths and physics tutors coming in.

I quite like Paris. She deserves a medal to put up with all his shit. She either really loves him or loves the lifestyle. Or maybe a bit of both?

Tyson is like a over grown child. And I'm surprised that Tommy Fury expected that his child would not go to school after a certain age too!

Thank god Molly Mae has put her foot firmly down on that one.

They do strangely seem a lot older.

They all put on a good show of being family men for the cameras, I was also surprised at the Netflix doc on Conor McGregor, seems very normal and devoted to his wife.

Sadly sexism is a part of most cultures.

They have gypsy accents irish traveller accents are very different.

Anyone can call themselves what they like! But it doesn't change the facts.

The cold sores are very distracting

There mum is Irish and I don't think they go to school so not mixing with English kids so yes they have an Irish accent.

I haven't watched it all but found his brother and his girlfriend really irritating. It sounded like she was interviewing him rather than a natural relationship. It all felt very staged. I think Tyson is brave for airing his mental health battles so openly and they have opened the doors on their culture but I certainly wouldn't want to live that way. Then again I doubt they would want to live my life either
