Currently really fancying the ww chicken & wedges, it was in a nice tomato sauce but I also really miss the slimming world tomato and bean soup that came in a pouch.

I realise these are both diet foods and tomato based, maybe I should just go and make a tomato salad 😂

Those chocolates that used to be in the in the pic n mix at Woolies. Tin foil corrugated cups in blue yellow and pink but the choc in them was all the same but it was bloody amazing. Delicious and melty. No idea what they were called. They rocked my world.

Not sold in NZ sadly but will be instructing our Xmas visitors to load up their bags!

There briefly used to be a dark Mars bar in the 90s with caramel inside, it was heavenly but I've never seen it around since. Probably just as well for the sake of my waistline!

They're still really good imo.

Toffos. In order of preference. Fruit ones. Then the mint. Then the original.

Another bloody sweet I've forgotten. Chewy fruit things with a crunchy shell. A rounded square shape. Pastel colours.

Fruit mentos are kinda similar but no where near as good.

@meatbaseddessert That sounds like Tooty Frooties. I think they changed the recipe to remove gelatine, which I'm all in favour of, but that definitely changed the texture. In my memory they were bigger and the colours were different too. I expect I'm right about the colours.

What were the sweets that came in a bag, they were little round domed jelly sweets, covered in sugar. Whenever I hear of tooti frooties it reminds me of these too for some reason.

Jelly Tots aren’t the same as they used to be. They’re a bit bigger now (more like the jelly sweets you used to get in dolly mixture) and the texture is a bit different - old jelly tots used to make your mouth go funny after a few and the new ones don’t. They’re still nice though!

Afraid not. The alternative they suggest, Lutti Mint fondants, are also no longer made.

I bought those by the 3kg pack for ages and now they aren't available anywhere.

Yes, it was the same effect fruit pastels had, where you couldn't hold one in your mouth for long without chewing, now you easily can! I do like the new ones though for my dcs, I like the added real fruit juice. They aren't healthy either but the old ones must have been pumped with e-numbers judging on how hyper I was as a kid after having them! It was the same after effect as Kia Ora squash 😂

Haven't read the whole thread sorry but has Birds Hot Crunch Pudding been mentioned yet? Aka the food that made up a good 50% of my diet as a child?

Seems like most people liked chocolate the best, but I loved the lemon and the banana. There's a recipe online for the banana one but I haven't tried it yet.
