Was it Drayton Manor?
The things we saw there a few years ago feel like a fever dream still 😂

That’s a Merlin as well, I think

StillWantingADog · 11/08/2023 23:56

I was at Efteling in Holland recently.
very well behaved all round. I’d recommend it. Even the food was delicious .

Sounds like hell. People are barbaric, the slide into chaos is happening.

Window82 · 11/08/2023 23:59

A lady eating candy floss in a queue? But no one stuffing themselves!

lots of families having packed lunches and some very useful large trollies.

someone has now mentioned the theme park!! Not a Merlin.

Friendly staff, rides are ‘ok’.

seemed to be plenty having fun, but what I said in my OP stood out. Teeth especially.

I don't think it is and I think I'm the winner 😂

where the kids wearing heels 😬

I’m betting socks and furry sliders! Saw tonnes of teenage boys in these at the zoo yesterday, it was so weird.

CrosstheTee · 12/08/2023 00:03

Don't know what the point of this thread is tbh. It's chav season at many uk theme parks, this isn't new..

Ifulikepinacoladas · 12/08/2023 00:03

@Window82 if it was Drayton Manor I'll tell you what we saw.....

PyongyangKipperbang · 12/08/2023 00:04

You can slag off the OP all you like for being "judgy" but the simple fact is that shirtless foul mouthed men with their equally foul mouthed partners and even more foul mouthed kids, all being massively rude and aggressive is not on but somehow its become normal and acceptable!

I am at a "naice" UK seaside resort and there are more than a couple of families who are getting "that" look from other normal boring families, because of their behaviour or language. I got a "Oh some people are just selfish!" from a woman on Tuesday when a lad decided he wanted my DD's bucket and spade. Mum didnt even notice him nicking it (phone was more interesting) so I said "Thats ours, put it down please" and he went bitching to his mother about it. I was selfish, cos I wouldnt let him have it, not that he shouldnt take what wasnt his in the first place! And god forbid that she spend a tiny portion of her WKD budget on her kids......fuck YES I judged and I make no apologies for that!

Be a shit member of society, you will (and should) be judged by others.

Window82 · 12/08/2023 00:04

i wouldn’t label people as chavs, I just noticed these things and I’m honest I don’t see a lot of bad teeth! Most teens I know are in braces!

these were adults with missing teeth. I don’t see it a lot,

Do you know that there is a dental crisis? People can't get NHS treatment and the UK isn't set up with employers providing dental treatment as a benefit. Dyo if you can't pay, you can't get treatment.

You sound very judgemental.

Window82 · 11/08/2023 23:47

Yes!! Lots of tattoos but there were that many tattoed people it didn’t stand out as such.

Tattoos - was it near a Navy port or red light area? Lots of lip fillers and hair extensions and of course the NAILs with fake jewels in them.

Brighton?

More eyes than teeth, more teeth than brain cells.

If you know "junkie" teeth, then you know that is has nothing to do with a lack of access to NHS dentist.

Window82 · 12/08/2023 00:10

I just think if you’re going to swear at your wife in front of your kids (threaten to throw her phone in the bin) simultaneously with a top off gold chains and missing teeth, you’re going to get noticed. Felt for the kids.

The rest is just fashion.

Because its the lack of NHS dentistry that led them to losing teeth to fighting and heroin......Okaaayy.

Bernadinetta · 12/08/2023 00:10

Flamingoland? Lightwater Valley?

One of the kindest, most gentle and intelligent people i know is missing teeth due to parental neglect as a child and a dental phobia. She has tattoos too. And she's a phenomenal and highly respected professional who makes a difference every day. But by all means judge if it makes you feel better
