Another day of rain due here - seems to be worst in the weekend lately.

Don't want to spend the day indoors moaning about it.

What is everyone up to today if your also facing a rainy day?

This is stop I picked up from Mumsnet years ago. Today, we're having a birthday party for one of DS teddies. This morning we're drawing invites and giving those to all the other teddies, then we're going to Tesco for cupcake ingredients and will make a homemade pizza. Then wrap up some gifts (existing toys). Push all the furniture to the sides of the living room, get out the disco light and have a mini party!

It’s not raining in the South (yet). A lot of the time the Met Office get things spectacularly wrong so I am not too worried. Have to go out later, but am sure it will be fine.

I'm in bed relaxing whilst DH is playing with DC downstairs. In a few hours we're all going to the local big playground with a football, scooter and picnic lunch (wrapped up in waterproofs..). We don't have alot of money and DH is working an evening shift so we try to make the most of the day even if it's miserable.

Just dropped DS(14) at work so at least he’ll be occupied. We were going to a country show today but would rather save the entrance fee since it’ll be miserable anyway. I’d like to go to the gym but DH is away most of next week and sets off tomorrow for work so I feel like I should spend some time with him. I’ve been on AL this week and have been grateful for the 2 days of sunshine we’ve just had but yes, the SAD is settling in early this year ☹️.

Rainy dog walk (they hate the rain, lol, but they know they get breakfast afterwards, lol). Just had fruit for breakfast - cutting the carbs a bit. Was due to have my partners granddaughter here but she’s had to cancel so now have a free day - ooh, the possibilities, lol. Should defo do some housework, but…..

It’s now raining in the South! Still have to go out later though.

Been up since 430am with ds...dd didn't get up till 8.15 done most of the house work just have to pop to the shop for a few bits but not looking forward to going out in the wind and run

DH has just gone off to work and I’m laying on the sofa. What I should be doing is house work and work I didn’t quite finish off yesterday. What I’m actually going to do is watch Harry Potter films all day, snooze whenever I feel like it, eat crisps, internet shop, start my new book and maybe do some sewing.

Baby no2 arriving in 7 weeks!!. So gone into full nesting mode, cleaning, organising, tidying and trying to entertain a toddler. Also going out to get some last minute bits.

Soaking in the bath on MN after a full on week with a poorly toddler.

Trying to lift my spirits with planning a homemade meal for tonight - beef stew.
I’ve also just ordered my first fiction book in a very long time - Perfume

Will potter in the house doing jobs this morning IF DH can keep toddler entertained. Then out to see family this afternoon and then a film this evening.

Hopefully weather will be a bit nicer tomorrow and we can get out for some fresh air

Holiday clothes shopping (waterproofs clearly as it's Cornwall next week) then pottering round house.

Splashing out to spend the day with a friend who’s housebound. I’m taking lunch, and we usually chops away for hours about deranged crap, and have a good whinge!

It's actually a sunny morning here in Scotland although I'm not sure it will last!

I really need to clear out my spare bedroom which has become a dumping ground AGAIN, as I have a friend coming to visit soon. Will have the house to myself once DD goes to work shortly so what I really want to do is binge watch tv and sew

I'm calling to my sister's house this afternoon. She retired recently so my two sisters and I are going to have a night out (or possibly in) to celebrate.. I'm going to stop off at a garden centre en route and pick up the last of her retirement presents.

Clearing out and gutting what was our sons bedroom(it's a big bedroom)ready to turn it into our bedroom(he has his own place now) I also really have the urge to do some baking, I'm thinking I'll make some shortbread,some butterfly cakes,some coconut cakes and maybe some cheesy biscuits.

No idea with the rest of the day I might binge watch a new series with DH and our 2DDs whilst we feast on homemade goodies.

But ideas for you OP if I was going out in the ridiculously poop weather we're having I'd either be going swimming,bowling,the cinema or a museum,hope you find something nice to do.

Dd2 and I are going bowling. Dp and dd1 are not well so they're going to watch a film this morning. This afternoon will probably be board games and puzzles, maybe a bit of craft.

We've had a rubbish start to the summer hols. Dd2 hurt her foot and couldn't walk so we were stuck in for the first 10 days or so. Then dd2 got a bug which has passed on to dp and dd1. We were hoping to all go out together today for the first time this holiday this morning.

Family coming to stay tomorrow and I’ve been basically bed bound for the last two days ill so am madly cleaning and tidying ready for their arrival. Just need to get out of bed first!

Going to try and do some housework and have a bath, and relax doing some crochet, reading hopefully. Dd3 football match was cancelled and she’s out on a sleepover so it’s a pretty chilled day today
