Saying that NVRLND have been misrepresented is at best disingenuous and at worst outright falsehood. Nowhere in their email to the Bakery did they mention covering costs (because they had no intention of doing so it was quite clear they wanted the products for nothing), it was all about receiving payment in the form of socials and exposure in OK Magazine, now CT says there is no deal with OK Magazine so that part of the reputed 'payment' wouldn't be happening would it.

Misrepresented? Hardly.

Grifters are going to grift, well done to the Bakery for not capitulating and for their firm and unequivocal response.

Some people (who don't make things) have no idea of the time, costs and energy that goes into production of the items in question.
I once quoted for a bespoke wedding cake with all the features that the client wanted, only to be told the figure was way too much and they were thinking more of supermarket prices. Fine, I said, go there then and get a mass produced basic cake. As @jonnycakes said , people won't pay for quality.

I think Catherine's husband is a photographer ... D'ya to I should ask him if he would cover my niece's wedding next month??? (Without payment of course....) I mean, it'd be 8 or 9 hours out of his day, but there's going to be at least 150 people there who he can give business cards to. And I put it all over my Facebook and my Twitter... I have dozens of facebook 'friends' and 300 followers on Twitter ... Plenty of exposure for him...

She will be well aware. I just looked at her Instagram and it's all #ad #gifted - she is a regular obtainer of freebies and "gifts" from brands in return for plugging them online.
