I am SO sick of this weather! Moan thread

Really I am done with it..where I am it has rained every day (bar literally two days) since the beginning of July plus it's been windy and cool and now the nights are getting darker earlier it just feels gloomy! And it's not even (just) August yet.
Feel so sorry for kids on the school holidays and parents trying to cope. It's just pants.

Still raining. Been raining non stop since I woke up.

If it was just me I'd go to bed and read all day and it wouldn't be too bad but the kids are going mad with being stuck indoors.

Has pissed down now for hours. Am gonna have to take the dog out . Best friend rang and has asked if she can come to Mallorca with us in three weeks time ,we have a spare room and she has now booked a flight!

Been raining all day in the south west the horrible fine rain and it's still so warm 😩 I just want a dry day doesn't even have to be hot.

Chucking it down in south west. Went to gym with view of amazing play park which was empty bar some hardcore parents in cagoules. It’s the grey dullness that’s getting me down as well as the rain of course. We have fucking months of that jan - April to have it for all of July AS WELL is rough.

Yep, it’s absolute bollocks. It was cold well into May and July was shit. So, we’ve basically had June that was any good. August is always shit, so expecting it, but fuck this.

The pond at work flooded today - never seen it do that, even in the winter! Had to run a pump to it and drain it down the hill because if it had kept going, it would have been in the house!

Agree with the PP about the school hols. Now that kids aren’t needed to do the harvest hour about shifting them earlier to 15 June and going back 1 August.

Ours are back mid August thank goodness. Another wellies walk today...

I know right! It's actually been warm today, I was quite unprepared 😂. But it is due to shower again later, hey ho. Let's hope things are gradually improving though.

The only difference here TheaBrand,t is that although it is almost always winter, it is almost ALWAYS Christmas too. 😂Only 4 more weeks until the Christmas adverts begin. Haha.

Was meant to be a dry day today. Rained in the Mir Int, then dried up from 12-6 then started raining again and it's still raining now!!!!
