My cousins are here for two weeks

Two weeks is a long time to think a family can tour them around
Cook and clean for them?

Or am I being too mean?

I'm so sick of walking in pee from the husband in the toilet
It's everywhere

I just had to clear all his breakfast food up
With a baby in my arms screaming her head off

Aghhhhhhhjjj

Sorry all just needed to vent

He sounds like a nightmare. Two weeks is too long even if they're lovely. Can't they hire a car? Could you put them on your insurance for a week?

I presume you're in a nice area which they would otherwise have to pay lots to visit.

If the man is the relative then I think you can speak to him. He sounds like a twat tho.

Arewehumanorarewecupboards · 01/08/2023 15:49

Embarrass him. Tell him that his aim is shit and that you are fed up with cleaning up his piss. Tell him that you chucked your mat.

Tell him to wash up.

Tell him to stop being such a twat.

CruCru · 01/08/2023 15:54

A fortnight is much too long to have guests even when they are utterly delightful. These ones are horrors - they have to be driven around and the dude pisses on everything.

I don’t really understand why you haven’t kicked off at him properly. He isn’t getting your hints - you need to be direct and tell him what you want from him. This is a time when it’s more polite to be direct.

If he can’t afford an expensive hotel room then he can’t afford to piss on the floor.

thisisasurvivor · 01/08/2023 19:04

It's a huge ask

They keep saying how tired I look

Any wonder

OP posts:
MaggieFS · 01/08/2023 19:17

I would snap if they said that to me. 'Yes! Of course I fucking am. I'm dealing with two extra houseguests who are doing bugger all to help and one of whom is making even more work for me because your toilet habits are worse than a four year old's. Now fuck off to the far side of fuck and then fuck off some more.'

Do you think then he'd get the message?

thisisasurvivor · 01/08/2023 19:19

Haha tempted

His wife is doing her fair share now and helping out with everything

He can Fck off for a range of reasons

Fcking piss everywhere

And I know I'm a walk over but each time he does it I put bathroom spray and a sponge on the toilet bowl

OP posts:
thisisasurvivor · 01/08/2023 20:15

He has. No clue and I'm starting to think something. Medically is wrong

There are no excuses what can I say

I have left the cleaning materials on the piss filled seat

And left the commode beside him and said that I'm not cleaning this one and left the room

You don't want to offend? Why, when he doesn't care about passing all over your floor?

I imagine it would be more offensive if you end up shooting him in the face, which I'd what I would do if he didn't start treating you and your family with some respect. I bet he wouldn't want it to get back to his parents.

Sound's as though she knows exactly what he's like, why would she do anything other than cheer? If he doesn't clear up i suspect she'll end up doing it out of embarrassment.

If you don't say something I despair.

Caterina99 · 01/08/2023 21:12

Why did these people come and stay with you in the middle of nowhere, with no car, and you have small children? For 2 weeks!?!

We used to live abroad and my BIL and gf stayed with us for a week when DS was a toddler and that annoyed me enough by the end. And they went out pretty much all day and didn’t piss on anything or make any mess. No way would I have agreed to 2 weeks.

Seems like maybe he (or wife) have got the message about the bathroom. Be firm. Tell him straight up he cleans it every time or he can leave. Tonight. Wife will probably do it to be honest, but she married him so it’s her problem not yours.

And then never allow them to visit again! (Maybe the lovely wife if she leaves him)

True I know

They are family

And had spent some time in a country not far away so wanted to see here too

The wife is adamant he pays for meals too he just sits there quietly and needs to be nudged

Mortified for her

Few more days left

And hopefully we have the toilet to ourselves from now on (got the commode when my dad struggled with the stairs a while ago )

A commode? Wtaf???

As you are rural I'd tell him to go outdoors, dig a hole and use that. No more indoors loo.

What age are they?

Do you all have to share the one bathroom? My toes are curling in horror.

thisisasurvivor · 01/08/2023 21:18

He's 69

She is 77

He has drank a lot of wine each day so lots of trips to pee

I get people have accidents
Fcking do something about it

I have small kids they don't want to see his piss

He just doesn't care
Second day here he asked me to do all his laundry from his trip before he arrived here

His wife snapped the basket off him 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

So mortified that she told you to get him a commode.......

Mmmmmm.....surely she'd have done that for her husband to spare you the hassle especially as you're looking after young children?

??? What??

She phrased it as a camping temporary type toilet

English is not her first language so I showed her what I used with my dad and she said yes so it's in the bed room 🤮😵

Of course she did. One of the first phrases to be learned by a student of the English language.

Which country are they from?
