As with the username I'm a nosey parker and I always find myself wondering what people have in their shopping bags.

What has everybody brought recently?

I went shopping as it was payday and I came to an absolute blank. Literally all I brought was some baby grows for my daughter.

Need to go find my daughter's first pair of shoes in Clarks today ❤️

This arrived today and it’s lovely, really impressed with it for the price. I’ve recently lost 4 stone and it’s a big milestone for me that a size 12 fits!!

I bought my house

I brought my house (bring, brought) very difficult to do unless you live in a tent or trailer home 😂

personally I bought a replacement iPad (mine having died @ 8 years), and I've brought it to bed. Yep my Saturday night is that exciting!! 🙄🙄

All the 'kind' handwringers calling out those who have indicated it's 'bought' not 'brought' as pendants and 'sad'. No I had no idea what the OP meant.

Brought and bought mean two totally different things. Totally different. It's not like 'their' it should be 'they're' or 'draw' when it should be 'drawer' which sound exactly the same with different spellings.

It's just totally wrong and it's not 'kind' to ignore it.

I agree. It's really, really basic English and I'm always a bit "WTF?" when I see that mistake written down.

After months of deliberating over lampshades I bought this for a lovely brass and wood floor lamp I got from Facebook marketplace.

I treated myself to a ridiculously large Stanley cup. I’ve been obsessing over them for months and they were finally restocked on Thursday. I missed the last one because I was on holiday. I am stupidly excited about it!
Also some silver ankle wellies for my daughter. She’s off to a festival next weekend and even if the rain stops now the place will be a mud bath, it’s rained so much lately.

So aside from a few op shop summer dresses, it's been a purchase free year so far.

Stuff to decorate my new classroom even though I wasn't going to. I want the children to feel it is a happy place and I have put the effort in!

In the past week , aside from food shopping , a bra , 2 Christy hand towels , 5 tea towels , new prescription glasses , same for sunglasses ( cost £567 ! ) and a footner ( post day 3 of doing it ) and nothing happening yet !
