As with the username I'm a nosey parker and I always find myself wondering what people have in their shopping bags.

What has everybody brought recently?

I went shopping as it was payday and I came to an absolute blank. Literally all I brought was some baby grows for my daughter.

Need to go find my daughter's first pair of shoes in Clarks today ❤️

APurpleSquirrel · 28/07/2023 18:37

Plants! Popped into the garden centre & went straight to the reduced section - got 7 perennials for under £25, all look absolutely fine just not got lots of fresh flowers etc on them.

A windbreak and a rubber mallet

Chatillon · 28/07/2023 18:41

New phone.

A book on drone operation.
An experience day.

Chatillon · 28/07/2023 18:43

I'm sure you know op meant bought. From reading the rest of the post .

Obviously, but it's really annoying to see the word brought when it should be bought.

weegiemum · 28/07/2023 18:49

A dress for my dd1's graduation 3 weeks ago.

And dh's emergency passport as he discovered his had expired yesterday morning when he and ds were booked on a flight at 5pm! Turns out that going to the passport office and begging works, but it's close to £200 rather than £70.

A desk
Some storage boxes
A can of sparkling orange
Hair cuts for my dogs
A hair cut and colour for me

Nothing exciting but the orange juice was delicious and my hair is much better than it was this morning.

orangetriangle · 28/07/2023 18:57

a hanging toiletry bag
a travel jewellery box
a pill holder
some flip flops
oh and a dress for my daughters wedding

EmilyEmmabob · 28/07/2023 18:58

Oh and polo shirts for my DS for school.

BloodandGlitter · 28/07/2023 19:00

A Rolykit from a charity shop for £5! Very pleased with my bargain and it holds all my sewing stuff perfectly.

Books mostly, a running wheel for our feline overlord cat and some bookmarks.

Where did you get the running wheel? My furry demons would probably love one. Or actually would love it for 2 minutes, then ignore it in favour of the box.

Wallabyone · 28/07/2023 19:50

@caringcarer That's so lovely, and something she'll always remember ❤️

Today I've bought a Nuxe travel kit for a friend, a bag for my son, and some roses for me!

AssertiveGertrude · 28/07/2023 22:07

I bought (vinted) a make up box with a light and mirror

I have my eye on the Stackers jewellery boxes but they are pricey but I know I would have them for years and I am trying to care for myself more after years of not

Gingerkittykat · 28/07/2023 22:29

All my purchases have been boring lately, a shed, a big padlock for the shed and a new garden bench as one of the feet snapped off the old one.

I also spent £23 getting my cat's anal glands emptied at the vet today, but don't know if that counts as something I've bought.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 28/07/2023 22:36

A folding travel mirror on a stand with LED lights around it.
Hair cut and colour
Sunglasses from next
Navy jacket from Vinted
New lipstick( Maybelline superstay soft taupe)

Anal gland emptying might have topped the goats.
