Just wondering, whether it’s possible to still be close with a large age gap

7 and 8 years difference between me and my brothers, I'm close to one but not the other but he has issues anyway

I have a 9 year gap (I’m the eldest).

We get on really well when we see each other, but aren’t really part of each others day to day lives at all.

So we get on but we aren’t ‘close’.

Same here. I'm close with her kids too. My nieces are 16&18 years younger than me and older than my daughters, and mine are 16-18 years older than their kids.

9 years between me and youngest brother. I loved being very involved when he was a toddler and in primary school but drifted apart (emotionally) since he started secondary school. He's going to university soon. We don't have anything in common and have very different personalities and life experiences. I'm very close to my brother who is a year younger than me.

As an adult I’m much closer to my 7 yr gap sibling than to my 2 yr gap sibling. As a child it was the other way round. 🤷‍♀️
