Hey everyone hope your all well. Today has been quite emotional for me. After a crazy couple of days I really have struggled today not going lie. AFter the attack KH did at the house I woke up this morning with a pain in my back, I did get some pain when he attacked me but as my adrenaline was racing I didn’t feel anything then, anyway I lifted my top up to my MIL and she goes there is a massive bruise all way down my back. I think when he pushed me against the wall and hit my head my back hit the frame too so in a lot of pain.
I decided get myself checked at doctors so off I went. I just broke down crying to doctor he was lovely about it. He said looks like your doing all the right things to protect your kids and yourself. He checked my back and just told me ice pack on it couple hours so let bruising go down. I did take pictures for proof. He also signed me off work for a month. I rang work to ask where I need send it in and they were really angry about ir. They said I need come in work as I got a disiplinary appointment in couple days due to investigation. I couldn’t believe it I told them I have a sick note for a month due ti stress and under mental health. They said they suggest I come to the appointment. I started cry and lost my shit( after everything I just lost it) told them shove the job up their arse and I will be taking this further!!! I can’t believe I said that honestly oh my god I cringe when thinking about it. Manager sent me a message saying she suggest j calm down and call her after. I haven’t yet

your manager is being completely out of order. I suggest you contact HR directly and put in a complaint and don't directly deal with her any longer until this situation is resolved. she is you causing you more stress and you really don't need that right now. doctors don't just sign someone off willy nilly.

Why can’t people just make it easier for people that are going through all this? Honestly it’s so hard to keep track of it and making sure I have everything organised. Just want to run away from it all

The disciplinary is because of KH using your work laptop to email them??

Please get advice from ACAS. I think your employer is going to look like an arsehole but best to get advice so you know where you stand legally before you contact them again.
