As is checking yourself into a private treatment facility. HE has a well-documented history of depression and this is likely to have been brought to the fore again by his behaviour, (allegedly going on for 3 years with this one young person and other rumours go back over 15 years), being widely disclosed. This can of course be a very serious issue and I hope that he is receiving all the treatment he needs. At the same time, it is a classic DARVO tactic.

It's been announced that Huw Edwards won't be returning to the BBC.

Does this mean there were more complaints from within the organisation and they have now been substantiated?

I'm not sure what type of message this sends out, although I think the media handling of the story has been far more interesting than the story itself. Some reports have Huw furious at the way he has been treated...

He's only himself to blame unfortunately.
But every time anyone tries to call out his disgusting behaviour out comes the mental health card

Please please please stop using the phrase 'the mental health card'. I know there are people who may cry wolf in that regard, but there are so many more people who have genuine mental health struggles, and that sort of terminology is very hurtful. Especially so when you're not in a good place mentally.
