Philip Schofield used his position of power at ITV to have a relationship with a young person. A person who he met when he was extremely young and fast tracked on to This Morning.
He did a cringey coming out on TM as the papers were about to run the story.
Huw Edwards looks to have paid for a service, let’s say, probably on only fans, nothing illegal.
Both are unsavoury but PS also had a reputation of being a complete shit to everyone around him at work. Everyone was happy then to say so once the floodgates opened.

There's a few differences.

PS had contact with the man in question when he was a mid teen. He was giving him advice on his career, got him a job where PS was then in a position of power, accelerated his career and started having sex with him.

Then when the relationship broke down he had him moved of the show to another one, lied to everyone concerned And when that story was on the verge of being known, he covered it up by announcing he was gay. Whilst lapping up all the 'you are so brave' adoration from the people he lied to.

Not sure the sex of the person involved in the HE case. I presumed they were a male but can't find confirmation either way.

But there's less detail available in this case so far. When more comes out people will make their minds up

He hasn’t lost his job yet. They took that back. His just in a private medical facility right now.

However some people do actually lose their jobs for bringing their company into dispute depending on who and where and when they was messing around and since the bbc is funded by every single person who watches live tv as basically a tax they should hold their staff to high standards.

I think its entirely possible is in a facility and I hope he recovers from whatever it is, but there probably wasn't;t a need to tell us that and I think that part is calculated. Whether illegal or not, I think the behaviour is utterly gross and if he did it to my 17 year old I would be physically sick over it.
