I'm really disappointed in his behaviour. I trust the BBC's reporting and I don't trust The Sun's motives at all. However, I wouldn't be surprised if we begin to hear from past colleagues saying it was well known that he liked young men. That would then beg the question, how much has Auntie turned a blind eye?
I agree with a couple of posters above. After being with a man and then finding him on gay chat rooms when I was pregnant with our first child, I'm inclined to wonder if more men than we expect, dabble in sordid behaviour (I absolutely do not mean homosexuality, I mean, barely out of puberty, boys). I also agree with another poster about his cowardice. That was my first thought, that the poor wife has had to pick up the pieces of a mess made by the man she's married to. Whilst he hides away in The Priory.
As a last thought, the statement seems to contradict Jeremy Vine's claims that he had insider gossip today that Huw was angry? I think his interference might backfire tremendously. As with The Sun too. I can't think of anyone who's triumphed in this.
