I feel like this wasn't really necessary 😂but good of them to read the room I guess.....

The complete website is still up, there's just a tiny line right at the top saying they've suspended ops. Whoever is in charge now needs to do better on this one really.

Has any statement even been made by the company?

I very much doubt that anyone senior would want to associate themselves with making any kind of statement (or lawyers have told them to say nothing), and the employees have probably very sensibly run a mile.

I think it is also worth bearing in mind that it is a small company and there will be people personally grieving the CEO and pilot. It’s not Unilever or something.

Obviously no expeditions would be running, it’s not like a product recall that needed to go out straight away.

Christ that's grim. Imagine that! mourning your husband - and I bet she knew PH Nargeolet too and is mourning him as a friend/colleague, knowing he is responsible both for his own death and four others due to his cavalier attitude to safety and being responsible for the PR to manage that.

And having the misfortune to be married to someone as grandiose and unpleasant as that.

That is quite a chalice to drink from.

She’s in many of the videos that have been posted on here. It seemed like quite a small operation… my guess is they’ll just quietly disappear.

I'm guessing not so quietly. I expect there will be claims made against the company by relatives and estates of the passengers and it will have to file for bankruptcy if it hasn't already.

Hi I've watched the documentary. Can someone please explain what happened? How did they know he was in trouble? Was it because the body should have been passed to the others?

From what I remember - (seems ages since I watched it) yes. The body was supposed to be passed from one diver to the next so that the lower divers (including Dave) could then ascend slowly and safely without being burdened with the weight of the body, or of extra oxygen cylinders, which are heavy, and worse, bulky and liable to catch on things in the murky depths. Everything was carefully timed re: oxygen etc. When he didn't appear to pass the dead man along, they realised that something was very wrong.
