I hate it, when will it cool down. Early 20s would be fine.

It's 15c just now and the highest forecast for the rest of the week is 24c on Saturday.

Rest of the week averaging 18C with rain.

GottaGirlcrush · 22/06/2023 22:55

It's just Summer! We get it every year

It's not even got hot yet

RampantIvy · 22/06/2023 22:56

It's going down to 16 degrees here next week Sad

ssd · 22/06/2023 22:58

The school holidays start here in Scotland end of this week or middle of next week.

Its bound to start pouring then.

Where are you! It's still 24 here at 11pm, and it's going to be anything up to 30 this weekend!

StillMedusa · 22/06/2023 23:08

11th August.. the skies will cloud, and it will become chilly, wet and miserable with night temps down to under 10 degrees.

Because that's when I'm off camping Grin

Yep. Rain forecast from Sunday onwards.

Like a pp mentioned I can accurately predict that the weather will turn to absolute shit the day the kids break up for the holidays. It will be freezing and pissing it down solidly. There may be the occasional day where it’s just cold but not raining.
you’re welcome!
i’m enjoying these lovely long warm evenings and will be fuming when it turns soon.

RampantIvy · 22/06/2023 23:14

Where are you @KnittedCardi?
South Yorkshire will struggle to hit 20 degrees next week. We have 20 degrees forecast for tomorrow, and 24 over the weekend, then it will get cooler - 16 degrees by the end of next week.

We have had some lovely weather over the last two weeks, but nothing like as hot as last year.

massiveclamps · 22/06/2023 23:16

It's summer. In Britain. Not exactly the Sahara, is it?

GoingToBeLessRubbishAtLife · 22/06/2023 23:20

I think you want @OhYouBadBadKitten

GoingToBeLessRubbishAtLife · 22/06/2023 23:20

Hmm. Maybe her name is spelt differently?

theysaiditgetseasier · 22/06/2023 23:23

Fuck knows @cheeseisthebest but I can't wait for autumn, too hot where I live, 28 today and weekend expected 30, I'll be working as a carer in peoples homes and it's unbearably hot and sweaty in uniform, PPE and a car with no aircon 😖🥵

Faz469 · 22/06/2023 23:30

Hope this helps 🤣🤣🤣

Does anyone know when it will stop being hot
Allmyghosts · 22/06/2023 23:31

Why are people so goddamn surprised by seasons these days? It was a shit spring, just winter gone mild here. It's summer, it's going to be warm sometimes. I feel like I'm going mad, haha.

Allmyghosts · 22/06/2023 23:34

I think it's the media. Everything is like winterpocalyps or summergeddon. Get a fucking grip people, it's happened every year for each and every one of your lives Grin

Shoemadlady · 22/06/2023 23:36

It's summer, get used to it

CloudPop · 22/06/2023 23:57

Autumn. You can get back into your coat and boots and crunch through the leaves in the crisp air and enjoy snuggling under a blanket with a hot chocolate.

TwoFluffyDogsOnMyBed · 22/06/2023 23:59

Is it just younger people who’ve forgotten what summers used to be like? I’m fifty and it didn’t used to be like this. Of course it was hot for some of the time but as a child, I only remember a few nights each year when it was difficult to sleep.

How hot does it have to become before people stop with the “It’s just summer” script?

Bliss!

continentallentil · 23/06/2023 00:02

September?

Brrrrrrrrrrrr · 23/06/2023 00:06

19/07/22 was when it hit 40C, I wouldn’t be surprised if we had a few weeks of that this summer. Throw in the catastrophic ocean temp heatwave and who knows what will happen. Climate change has made us almost tropical.

DdraigGoch · 23/06/2023 00:39

Mademetoxic · 22/06/2023 22:29

Not really.

I mean none of us know what the weather will do 🤷‍♀️

Our guess is as good as yours.

Meterologists usually have a reasonable idea.
