Missing Titanic submarine

How horrifying that a submarine carrying 5 people has gone missing. Apparently there’s only 96 hours of air on the submarine when it sets off.

The people on board must be terrified!

Jeez some of the Facebook comments basically saying the billionaire deserves everything he gets. He should have put the £250,000 to charity blah blah. No one deserves this. He earnt his money. I can't begin to image the panic they will be going through :(

Presumably the profit from taking tourists funds other missions that are for research?

Just thinking about this makes me need to take deep breaths. I hope they are oblivious, it feels like the plot to a bad film.

Both are disrespectful to me. Scientific or historical research aside we shouldn’t treat these places like theme parks.

This would be my absolute nightmare. Like PP, I feel sick and claustrophobic just reading about it. I really hope they are found soon.

Can’t really get that worked up by it. They knew the risks of diving that deep. Some things are best left alone.

I'm very claustrophobic so would never ever go in such a vessel! Poor people I hope it ends well - I feel panicky just thinking about it.

I know, it doesn't bear thinking about. I wouldn't want to be in that capsule on land let alone kilometres below the ocean surface! Horrific!

Nobody deserves this. I'm not keen on taking tourists down to the Titanic, but that doesn't mean that I wish ill on those who have gone or are going.

It was a really risky thing to attempt to do. The billionaire guy posted on his Instagram that he was going on this expedition as some kind of expert. He’s just a tourist! They've done a superb marketing job on these rich suckers.

Sounds like a very reckless and haphazard organisation.

It makes me feel breathless just thinking about it.

A bit of empathy for fellow human beings and their families wouldn't go amiss, even if they are doing something that wouldn't be your bag (or mine).
