Names that arent names but sound like pretty names if they didnt mean what they meant..

Ischaemia is a far prettier word than it needs to be. Gravida, Praevia and Systole. Apoptosis and Phagocytosis too, though they work better for boys.

Phenomena - I’m sure some poor child has already been saddled with this.

I also haven’t seen Corona on here - named after either the beer or the virus.

As a child we used to drive through a place called Arundel in West Sussex on the way to the coast. I used to say I would name my children that, pronounced A -Rundle (for a boy, obviously, 😳) and Aran -dell for a girl! I didn’t of course.
