Will DC share a room?

Yep! Well baba will be in our room to start with. Not the full 6 months tho.

Emmamoo89 · 04/06/2023 20:43

Second pregnancy wasn't planned and was already moving in to the house. Plus be rent free so can't complain

Clicheinaqashqai · 04/06/2023 20:45

currently in a 3 bed but doesn’t feel big enough for us as we have 9 spoilt pets

3 bed semi

Elle200 · 04/06/2023 21:06

Four bed detached in Scotland

SimonsCow · 04/06/2023 21:09

3 bed terraced. Well not really 3 bed- 2 beds and a box room for the baby. We had DSD too. The downstairs was a small living room and kitchen. No room for a table to eat at. Small paved space outside. Some inheritance meant we were able to buy a 4 bed detached with a lovely garden before she was 1 thankfully.

StampOnTheGround · 04/06/2023 21:14

4 bed detached bought in 2016, DC born in 2022!

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 04/06/2023 21:18

2.5 bed terraced cottage, then moved to a 3 bed semi when pregnant with dc2.

trampoline123 · 04/06/2023 21:20

1 bed flat

Tangled123 · 04/06/2023 21:37

It was sold as a 3 bed semi in 2020, but the box room is tiny so we use it as a study/ office and for storage instead. Our daughter was born in 2021, and is in the biggest room. We took the other one because it has built in cupboards.

percypig · 04/06/2023 21:39

5 bed detached. We'd moved to this area from a more expensive one about 18 months before our first child was born and bought a house that was way bigger than we needed, but in an area we knew/liked, with the idea that we wouldn't have to move for quite a while. It stretched us a bit at the time, but we knew our salaries would be increasing annually for at least 5-6 years.

18 years later our house is more than big enough for our family of 5. It's worth more than double what we paid and we could afford a bigger house or more desirable location (though where we are lovely!), but we like having a relatively low mortgage and have been very happy here, so don't think we'll move until we downsize in retirement.

TooOldForThisNonsense · 04/06/2023 21:40

A 2 bed semi. moved to a 3 bed just before he turned 2 and I was pregnant with his brother.

Greydog · 04/06/2023 21:46

2 Bed mobile home - lived there til DS was almost 3

Petal7 · 04/06/2023 21:49

A tiny 2 bed Victorian terrace with a tiny garden, but it was ours. Absolutely loved that house! We're now in a 5 bed semi detached and I still miss our home where we welcomed our first 2 babies. They shared a single bedroom - 2 cots in an L shape. We only moved as I was pregnant with number 3!

moved to a five bed detached when we had our second, bought in 2001 for £125k!!

not there now

IhearyouClemFandango · 04/06/2023 21:58

Ah, the cutest little 2 bed Victorian terrace. The first place we had chosen and bought together.

LemonSwan · 04/06/2023 22:02

500sqft garage 🤣 I kid not

Was actually amazing. Never had to worry about babe having fallen asleep in a different room when trying to get on and do things.
