What have you got on top of your fridge ?

A nice plant perhaps or some well placed cake tins ?? Or are you like me and shove anything and everything up there and wonder why your kitchen does not look stylish.
I have just cleaned the fridge out (I know) and removed all the junk from the top. I don't want to put it back there. Please give me some ideas Mumsnet!

We did our cupboards up to the ceiling with an integrated fridge, so there's an internal cabinet up there. We store Ikea freezer bags and extra ice cube trays in it. Before that it was always dusty and greasy.

The kids lunchbags when not in use
A tube of bubble mixture
A couple of boxes of catfood.

And yes, dust.

I want to put shelving up there and make it officially useful.

Nothing. Mine is integral. I hate it and would prefer a fridge you can put stuff on.

Drugs mainly (of the medical kind), it's where I store all my little person's meds until I need them.

My fridge is tall. I was hoping for a brainwave of an idea. I'll have to think of something and have acute brain fog. Must be down to all the chuffing cleaning I just did:)

A large basket with bulky stuff, tea bags multi packs of crisps etc Pull it down with my pasta spoon ( and catch it quick before it lands on my head) Grin

Ours is also integrated. There’s a built in cupboard about which has picnic blanket and thermos bag and flask

Plants. Herbs - chives, mint mostly. Love it. They are however fighting for space with some currently homeless boxes, and the wine rack which is also homeless.
wine rack looked ok there.

So much rubbish that I need to really sort out. Like a pen pot with pens and cello tape and parcel tape and a miscellaneous box with buttons and sun cream.

Wine rack, always empty as we never have enough to put in it as it gets consumed too fast!!
