How much annual leave do you get from work?

How much do you get and what sector do you work in?

I'm interested in how many people get more than the legal minimum. No other reason than curiosity, most people I know get quite a lot and having a discussion with someone who says most people get the minimum.

28 days plus BH.

Of the 9 x BHs only Christmas, New Year and Easter are fixed and so 4 are flexi and added to annual leave
Plus 3 gifted days at Christmas when they shut down.

So in total 35 days when I can chose to be on leave and 5 fixed public holidays.

33 plus BH & option for unpaid leave. That & the pension is why I moved to public sector

31 plus the BH, plus an extra 5 over Christmas.

Gosh I’m quasi public sector and we get 26 plus bank holidays ( and a very low pay increase last 10 years). We are always told we are matching the rest of public sector but this thread has been enlightening!

Teacher. 18 weeks plus bank Holidays.
