How much do you get and what sector do you work in?

I'm interested in how many people get more than the legal minimum. No other reason than curiosity, most people I know get quite a lot and having a discussion with someone who says most people get the minimum.

Full-time equivalent: 30 days plus bank Holidays plus 4 closure days at Christmas/New Year.

33 days plus bank hols - NHS. DH has always worked in private companies and has never got more than 25 days plus BH, usually 20 days though.

21 days plus BH. Third sector.

All school hols as I work in a school my salary reflects that though 😊

27+ bank holidays + a week at Christmas.

29 plus bank holidays and the option to buy or sell additional days usually 3 but I think we are restricted to 2 this year.

Construction.

I know it is wrong but I'm not getting anywhere. When the Queen died I was meant to be covering a colleague who was on holiday the day of the funeral which was announced it was a bank holiday. The business was closed. Everyone except me got paid and as my on holiday colleague's day off was then a bank holiday she got that back to use again. The only thing I can do is ensure my CV is up to date and keep looking for somewhere where I am valued. This isn't the first time I've been dealt the wrong end of the stick.

I know we have sparred in the past but thank you for your assistance, it won't make a blind bit of difference though.

25 days plus the Bank Holiday's but we can buy or sell 5 days as well, or even carry 5 over to the first quarter of the next holiday year.

I'm very happy with that personally

25 days + BH, but only work 4 days/week, so it's effectively 6 weeks. Publishing.

35 days + BH + Christmas closure

24 days plus BHs, plus several closure days (work at a university) around Easter and Christmas

I’m an American. I get 27 days, plus 11-13 holidays per year. And usually an extra day at the end of the year.

30 (I think) plus BH. But I have loads of flexi too so always carry 10 days over (15 for the last 3 years due to covid).
Easter I've got 2 full weeks off, 2 BH, 5 flexi and 3 annual leave.

30 inclusive. It’s miserable and tiring to be honest. I feel for anyone on less. We close 2 days at Christmas and 2 at new year. So it’s 26 days to use as we please.

I get 30 days plus bank hols (although sometimes I am on duty on bank hol but get paid)

DH gets 20 days and has to keep 3 of those for between Xmas and new year. It’s fucking dreadful. Also gets bank hols.

60 days per year plus bank holidays

Full time is 25 days plus bank holidays and the option to buy up to 10 more days. Then pro-rated for part time.

I work 4 days a week and get 18 + bank holidays. That’s the minimum plus 2 extra I’ve earnt through 15 years at the company. It’s a great company in other ways but so stingy with holiday!

33 days plus Bank Holidays plus a day off for birthday. NHS, maximum entitlement.

30 days + Bank holidays and Christmas closure. Also really good allowance for sickness/compassionate/fertility leave - work in tech.

41 days including bank holidays (NHS).

30 days plus B. Hols and also 10 days over Xmas/New Year

7 weeks plus bank holidays and 1-2 days office closure at Xmas - but a challenge to take them all and can’t roll any over, but have adjusted to having the difference from 5 weeks to 7 weeks as a buffer for child cover on random days over the year etc

35 days plus bank holidays and Christmas closure. I work in HE.
